Chapter two:

Carter Banks.

“Ok we've done Chase so now we should start on Carter.” Callie mused as she spooned a lump of coffee flavoured icecream into her mouth, disregarding the fact that it was getting all over the sides of her face giving her a light moustache.

“What's this 'we' you speak of and who eats coffee icecream anyways?” I asked as I shoveled cheese fries into my mouth, wiping at the corner with a napkin every two minutes.

“Come on we're in this together and coffee icecream is delish, dont knock it till you try it toots.” Callie answered as she continued stuffing her mouth; her shimmering light green eyes darting back and forth through the cafateria looking to see if Carter was anywhere to be found in the swarm of people getting their lunches.

I sighed as I finished off my fries knowing exactly where Carter was sitting although wishing I didn't. “Might as well.” I muttered to myself which caught Callie's attention as she gazed up at me , her eyebrows drawing together as I slowly pushed myself off of the long black bench.

“Where the heck are you going Piper?” She asked as she gazed at me like I'd grown three heads, and maybe I had gone a little crazy I mean I was about to go to the cool people table willingly! Many not so fortunate people had gone there and never came back the same... Ok maybe that was a little dramatic but still!

“I'm going to meet Carter Banks, what do you think?” I answered quickly as her expression changed completely, a smile now making it's way onto her face as she wiggled her eyebrows suggestivly. I rolled my hazel eyes at her before slowly making my way across the cafateria feeling like I was in one of those cliché highschool movies that we all love to watch.

I had finally got to the table right near the only window in the whole caf, the one every one whos anyone sat at and I could feel the lump starting in my throat, there were too many people and they were all staring at me like I was lost or something. I could feel my stomach churning dangerously under my light blue tank top as I tried to keep the cheese fries down.

You know what would be a great peace offering Piper? Puking on their shoes! Yay!

I forced the lump down with one huge gulp before contemplating exactly what I was going to say that would get Carter, who was staring intently, to leave the table and follow me outside into the hall.

This is gonna be good.

“Carter, Ms. Levisque wants to see you.” I nearly whispered as I dared to only stare at him, which didn't really calm my nerves because he looked adorable sitting there in his varsity jacket. I could hear the muffled whispers around us as he slowly got up from the bench and walked over to me. Suddenly, all eyes were on us; everyone was silent. I quickly made the walk of shame to the end of the cafateria where the large black doors were and I could feel Callie staring at me, pure and utter shock on her face. “She actually did it...” She was probably thinking.

“So what did Ms. Levisque want?” Carter asked as he leaned against the wall outside of the cafateria which was peeling light blue paint onto his jacket, but he didn't seem to notice or maybe he just didn't care.

Wow he's so laid back and adorable and now im screwed.

My voice caught in my throat as I tried to come up with an excuse but nothing came to mind.

Piper, that was a stupid idea, a stupid, stupid idea.

“Uh, honestly... Ms. Levisque didn't want you.” I muttered quickly, surprised that he even knew what I was saying. His eyebrows raised and amusement made it's way into his beautiful blue eyes. I felt so stupid and foolish standing under his gaze.
