"Hey Alex!" Jamie yells, as I approach his house.
"Hey Jamie!" I call back.
"Let's play some video games," he smirks, and we race to his room.
I grab the controller, and we start to play. I beat him, of course.
"Yes! In your face, pretty boy!" I exclaim, and point at him.
"How do you do that?" he asks me.
"I'm a natural," I smirk.
"Yeah right," he scoffs.
"Matthew! Jamie brought a girl home!" Jamie's mom exclaims.
"Hi Mrs. Bennett," I greet her.
"Hello, what's your name?" she asks me.
"Alexis Tanner." I smile at her.
"It's nice to meet you, I'm Vicki." she shakes my hand.
"Mom, she's not my girlfriend." Jamie groans.
"He doesn't like me that way, because I beat him in video games," I smirk at Vicki.
"Really?" she asks me, shocked.
"Yup," I flip my hair over my shoulder, "I'm a natural."
"Yeah, a natural cheater," Jamie adds, jokingly.
"It takes skill to cheat," I stick my tongue out at him.
"Yeah right, you could've look up cheats," he mocks.
"Like I have the time," I roll my eyes.
"True," he nods his head.

"Well, it was nice meeting you," Vicki says, as I leave Jamie's house.
"You too, Vic, see you next time," I smile, and make my way home, but I continue to get a sinking feeling that there's someone following me.
Then suddenly, someone grabs me, and places chloroform over my mouth. Then I pass out in the stranger's arms.
"Sleep well, Alex." an unfamiliar, yet familiar, voice whispers in my ear.
