In 1983, tragedy struck a regular family in Lawrence, Kansas. By the end of the night, a member of the Winchester family was dead, and a journey was laid out for those left to pick up the pieces. Over the next twenty-two years, John Winchester raised his boys to be human vigilantes, hunting down paranormal and supernatural creatures, entities, and beings while the patriarch hunted down the monster that murdered his wife and the means to kill it. 

On the other side of the country, Sera Carmichael—the little girl who lost everything—was raised by the medical field and the foster system, positioning her as a young soul still traumatised by what she saw that night in 1993. Her "hallucinations" of monsters under her bed were looked upon as her fractured imagination and broken mind. Until she escaped. Leaving the life of pills and hospitals behind, Sera chose the road, walking it wherever it took her, moving further and further away from the life she once knew, leaving behind the name that marked her forever.

Dean Winchester was always the ever protective older brother and loyal soldier to his father, and was forced to hunt alone when youngest Winchester Sam chose the ever resistant path of the hunting life itself in favour of a full ride to Stanford. 

In 2005, Sam has since retired from the hunting life to focus on college. Until Dean shows up, dragging him back in after their father goes missing. Further dragging him in after the death of his girlfriend, the Winchesters embark on hunting quests across the country, working through cases left in their father's journal and hunting down whatever supernatural creatures haunted the lives of the innocent. 

And when a drifter with more common with the two than they realise jumps into the back of their '67 Chevy Impala, the rise of the world's most deadly hunting trio rises.
