Part 5 - The Starry Night

It's been a week since Krist worked at the Cafe, he has quite gotten used to his new job. When it's his day off Krist tries to write a song and play the piano. Singto is also good at playing it, sometime they would play together and discuss the lyrics written by Krist. Singto seems to know a lot about music. Krist was happy to know about it, so they found a color in conversation cause that's the only way they interact with each other.

That night, Krist returned from his work at very late night, he walk alone in the dark alley and saw something that catch his attention. A girl is being harassed by a bad guy, and he quickly turns into a hero to save the girl, but sadly he can't fight like a hero, he got beaten so hard in the face and some part of his body. But he manages to save a girl from the bad guy.

"You like to play a hero, don't you? Now eat this!" the guy with a muscle hit him on his right face making Krist fall to the ground.

"You, bastard! Don't you dare to touch the girl, or I'll drag you to hell with me!" Krist shouts in anger.

"Then I'll send you there first, you can enjoy your time while waiting for me!" he again hit in Krist another face.

"Aaaahhhh!!!!" the girl screamed and startled the bad guy.

"You bitch!" the guy cursing in anger want to chase her. Krist quickly grabs the guy's feet using his hand to hold him and giving her a chance to escape.

"Run!" Krist shouts in pain.

Meanwhile, at home Singto who just finished the shower seems to hear Krist's voice screaming in pain, he then searched the entire room and didn't find Krist.

"Aaaahhh!!!" the big guy steps on Krist's hand and kicks him in the stomach.

"Krist?! What happened? Where are you?" Singto asked in a panic.

He hear the voice again, he tried to focus and ran outside to look for Krist, after wandering around for an hour, finally, he found Krist laying on the ground and wounded. He quickly runs to Krist and wants to help him but he only touches the air. He screaming inside hopeless.

"Krist! Wake up! Can you hear me?" Singto calls his name, his hand trembling but nothing he can do except try to reach Krist who is unconscious.

"Please, don't die...you got to wake up! Do you hear me?!"

"Please...open your eyes!"

"Krist!!!"

Singto drops by his knee to the ground, his hand trying to grab the body laying in front of him with his hand, but it's no use. He can't touch them even a second. He wishes to check Krist's vein and breathe to make sure the guy is still alive but he can't touch them no matter how many times he's been tried. He gulp his saliva and waited in silence, that was the only thing he could do.

An hour later, Krist finally move his finger and gradually open his eyes. He feels the pain all over his body. When his sight becomes clear, he saw Singto kneeling beside him and seems so distressed. Singto once saw Krist awake took a deep breath and drop his body and sat on the ground.

"P'Sing..."

Singto was surprised when hear Krist call him with something familiar.

"W-what about the...girl?"

"What girl?"

"The girl...I trying to save..." Krist talking in pain.

"I found only you, what happened?"

"No, I have to save her...I got to..."

"You got beaten for saving a girl?" Singto guessing. "Is she finally saved?"
