Part 6 - Who is She?

It is 4 PM, unlike normally that afternoon only have few customers. Krist cleaned the table while staring at the keyboard on the other side of the room. Suddenly one of his girl co-workers shove at his arm and ask, so he can play it, Krist nodded lightly and smile a little.

"Really? Let's try it!"

"I can't, my job's waiting!" Krist refuse and continue to do his job, but the girl did not give up easily, she dragged Krist's hand and pull him to the front of the keyboard.

"What?!"

"Come on! Everyone's waiting!"

"But..."

"Just a song, please! Play it for me, will you?" Pim begging.

Krist nodded lightly, he touches the keyboard slowly and tune it a little before starting to play a song. Everyone in the room was amazed in a second, listening to beautiful music played by Krist. Everybody's eyes point at him, enjoying the music while the taste of their food. Krist continue playing till the song ended, and everyone in the cafe gave him amused applause. Afterward, he stood up and bow to show his gratitude then left to the kitchen followed by Pim.

"A very short stunning show, isn't it? Pim praises him. "How do you feel? Nostalgic?"

"Well, I was nervous..."

"But, I think you did a great performance, everyone seems to enjoy it, me too..."

"Thank you.."

"I heard you were a singer before, weren't you?"

"Eh?" Krist was startled by her words. "No, I wasn't..."

"Anymore...?" she cut immediately. "The star never loses its glow, it is just unseen, there will be a time for it to shine again, trust me!"

"You know me?"

"I was your fans, the very loyal fans of yours.." she add.

"I was surprised by you. I thought no one will recognize me in this town, so I quit singing for a long time. Look at me now, I'm just a waiter."

"For me, you're always a star. I love your song, I also collected all of your albums and posters. I also felt so sad when heard about you quitting the singing."

"You do?"

Pim nod slowly. "When you came to work here, I was like dreaming, never has thought it before that I could see you in person."

"But, why have you never mentioned it before? We work together for quite some time, don't we?"

"At first, I want to run toward you and ask for your sign and even take a photo. But, I think I would be scared of you if I did that. And probably you will quit the work because of it."

"So I think to learn more about your situation first, so later won't hurt your feeling when bringing about your past..."

Krist nodded in agreement. "No wonder you be so much help all this time." Krist chuckled. "And thank you for always supporting me, and sorry to make you disappointed."

"No, never has disappointed me. Please, don't worry!"

"Thank you, but may I ask you something? Please just act natural around me as usual!"

"Of course, I'll be your secret fan..." Pim smiled at him.

"Thanks."

"Speaking of gossip, are they true?" Pim suddenly changes the topic.

"What?"

"About the headline, the MV model..."

"You've heard enough, don't you? Why do you ask again?"
