"Wake up Diamond" I heard my mom scream from downstairs. It's her fifth time calling me.
This is our daily routine. She wakes me up 2 hours before school. I wake up for a split second than go back to sleep. Then she keeps waking me up and I wake up for about 3 seconds than go back to sleep.
I always manage to wake up 1 hour before school starts.
After sleeping for a little longer I dragged myself out of bed and into the bathroom. I did my morning routine than walked out.
I'm feeling very basic today so I picked out a black off the shoulder shirt with my ripped denim skirt. I paired it with my black pumas and my brown leather bookbag. I put my hair in a ponytail and called it a day.

I'm not even gonna bother with makeup today. I just put on my lipgloss and walked downstairs.
It only took me 45 minutes to get ready. I don't really need 2 hours.
"Momma I'm heading to school, I love you!!" I screamed as I ran down the stairs. I waited for her to say I love you too before I walked out.
Even thought I got ready in 45 minutes that meant that I only have 15 minutes to get to school. I usually stay in my car for a little bit to sing before I walk into the school building.
That was the only reason why I was rushing. I wanted to have my karaoke session.
With only 5 minutes left I pulled into the school ground and parked in my regular spot. I guess I came too late. I don't have enough time to sing.
I sighed and reluctantly grabbed my bookbag and got out of my car. I trudged to my locker and took out my books I needed for the day.
A shriek left my mouth as I saw Sam, Noah, and Ruby standing behind my locker.
They all started laughing as I tried to catch my breathe.
"I told you it would work" Noah said as he basically rolling on the floor.
I'm guessing it was his idea.
The thing is that I didn't hear their footsteps and I didn't see their shoes from under my locker. It's like they walked on air.
"Good morning princess"
Sam said as he kissed my forehead.
Still mad I mumbled a good morning and walked away from them.
"Oh come on Diamond, you know we love you"
Noah tried to reason with me as he ran behind me. I heard him snicker as he caught up to me.
