The Academy
The next day.

"Okay bud, go ahead," Hiccup said and Toothless gave a low flame into the Dragon Eye.
"Woah!" Snotlout said.
"Amazing!" Astrid followed.
"Woah!" Ruff said.
"Cool!" Tuff added.
"Definitely worth getting up for," Fishlegs said.

"Fishlegs, can you make any of it out?" Hiccup asked.
"There are parts of maps and symbols. Nothing I've seen before and there is writing but it is in a language I've never read before," Fishlegs explained.
"What's that thing?" Snotlout said pointing to a symbol.
"That must be some kind of tribal crest or something," Hiccup answered.
"Ooh, I like that way better than our tribal crest," Tuff said.
"Tuff, we don't have a tribal crest," Astrid pointed out.
"Well we should," Ruff said.
"Yeah, and it should be that," Tuff added.

"Hiccup, this map. you realize it..." Fishlegs started.
"Goes beyond the boundaries of the archipelago. Oh I know," Hiccup said.
"So what's our next move?" Astrid asked.
"I'll ask the Berk council if we can go," Hiccup said.
"And what if they say no?" Astrid asked.
"We'll go anyway," Hiccup answered getting on Toothless and flying away.

"That doesn't sound like Hiccup," Fishlegs pointed out.
"I know. I like it," Ruff said.
"Yeah it brings a darker side to him," Tuff said.
"What if he uses that darker side to get us closer to our deaths?" Snotlout asked.
"He wouldn't," Fishlegs said.
"He might," Astrid followed.

20 minutes later

"Well, what did they say?" Astrid asked.
"We can go," Hiccup said.
"Yes," Ruff said.
"A new adventure," Fishlegs squeaked.
"Saddle up, let's go!" Hiccup shouted.
