The next day at lunch

"Hey come sit with us" Stan says "no thanks.." I say and walk up to the roof

There was always someone here to stop me. I'd help them and then I didn't want to jump.
It always happened like this:

I seen a girl with braces
She had tear stains

"Don't do it please" I say and she looks up "I want to help" I say and she looks into my eyes and sighed

"I was embarrassed in front of the who school for my braces, everyone laughed" she says

I've been laughed at

"I know people are awful but there are always others who are nice and will except you for you" I say

"I feel much better thanks"
She walks away

I had a smile but it faded know I can't share my feelings out loud

The next day at lunch
(Only two more times will she be on the roof)

"Please y/n sit with us?" Ben asks
"I don't feel like it"

I walk up the but to she a girl in a  yellow Cardigan. She turns around. I seen the pity in her eyes

"Hey..don't do it please, I can help" I say

"I just wanna stop the scars that grow every time I go home, that's why I came up here" she says

I didn't have scars. yet I knew why they were there on her.

I couldn't help but drop to my knees and have tears fall down my cheeks "please go away your pitiful expression is to much" I say sobbing

I still seen pity in her face
"I guess today was just not my day" she looked away from me and walked away

The next day at lunch
(Last time)

I walked up there no one was here today just me, myself, and i..I guess today is the day. I take my hair out of a ponytail.

I look up and take a deep breath

STAN
"Richie y/n is on the roof aren't you concerned??" I say and Richie looks up "The roof?!" He gets up and starts running

I took my shoes off.
A tear rolled down my cheek.
As I was about to jump someone grabbed my arm pulling me back into their arms

"Y/n!?! Why...Why were you!?!" I hear Richie's voice my eyes Widen. He starts to cry "I-I..." I then start crying and he pulls me closer.

He starts to calm me down
"Shh..now tell me why you were gonna jump" he says and I sit down by him and he wipes the tears off my face

"My m-mom abuses me, she made me feel useless, she drinks every night, and she hit me with a belt that's why I had that red mark" I say

"And you didn't tell me? Friends don't lie" he says "I know and I'm sorry" I say "don't do it again I can't loose a friend" he says

I grab my shoes and we walk down to the lunch area were the others were

"Y/n what happened?!" Bev asks because she knew I was crying "what did Richie do!" Eddie asks "calm down, Richie he..he saved me" I say

Their eyes widen "Saved you? From he henry?" Stan asks
"No not from him" Richie says

"From jumping to my death" I say and the all get up a d hug me.
Then all sit back down "Thank you Richie" I say and he smiles

"So why did you keep going up there?" Ben asks "there were four other girls up there that needed help to" I say and they look shocked "four?!" Bill yells

"Yes four" I say "were just glad your still here" bev says

After school at home

"Mom can I stay at a friends house?" I ask since its Friday "did you ask your dad" she says "yea" I say "what did he say" "yes" I reply "then go" she says not taking her eyes off the TV

"Bye honey be good" Dad says as I leave. I was staying at Richie's with the other losers as the called themselves

I reach Richie's house and knock. The door opens to reveal Richie "hey sugar" he says then moving aside to let me in
