A weekend later in Little Rock, Arkansas, the bus that had Abby Lee Dance Company arrived at the Center for Performing Arts where Starbound was held at and they wwre hoping for a win to get them back on track, if they won, then it would be better late than never.
"Everybody off!" Abby called and the girls and moms all got up to get off, once they all got off the bus, the girls went to get their bags with the moms helping them.
"Mom, i'm hoping we finally win." Vivi told Abby.
"Me too, your brother is hoping they finally win as well." Abby said to her adoptive daughter.
"This might be the competition we finally win." Gianna predicted as they all entered the building and Spencer got them signed in and once he did that, they walked down the hallway and approached a room that said "ALDC" and with that, they walked in with the makeup tables sitting in there and a changing room was in there as well.
"All right, the solos are gonna go first then the trio, so Brooke, Nia, Maddie, Chloe, Paige, start getting ready!" Spencer ordered.
With that, the five girls got ready for their solo and trio routines by first doing their hair and makeup, then once that was done, they were given their costumes to change in one at a time.
Nia was wearing an iridescent multi sequin mesh over navy spandex leotard with navy mesh overlay and sleeve and attached was a multi colored mesh hi-low skirt with a handkerchief hem and spiral drape.
"Brooke was in a sequin mesh over sparmint spandex leotard with front lining and adjustable straps and also on the costume was an attached spearmint mesh skirt with asymmetrical hem and applique trim.
Maddie, Chloe and Paige were decked out in a hologram graphic print spandex tunic over black spandex unitard with adjustable straps.
"Those costumes look amazing!" Kendall commented.
"You're all gonna do great." Vivi stated.
"What they said." Mackenzie said, then the stagehand told them that the solos and trio would be soon and Maddie, Chloe, Paige, Nia and Brooke all walked to the stage as Abby, Spencer, Gianna, Vivi, Mackenzie, Kendall and the moms headed to their seats, which were in the front row.
"Coming up in our elite junior soloist division Nia from the Abby Lee Dance Company with Struck!" Coming on the stage was Nia as the crowd applauded and she stood near the center of the stage, then once the music started, the dancer started to dance to the music, she nailed her tricks that she was taught and the moves as well and then the music ended, she posed and left the stage to cheers.
"Up next is Brooke from the Abby Lee Dance Company with A Little Dream!" Brooke stepped out onto the stage to for her solo and once the music started, the older hyland started dancing to the music and there were some flaws at first, but she got past them and kept on dancing until the music ended, then she left the stage and next were the duet/trio portion of the competition.
"Next in our Duet/Trio division, we have Maddie, Chloe and Paige from the Abby Lee Dance Company with Wild Warriors!" The three girls walked on to the stage, ready to do their trio and hopefully keep their undefeated streak intact and from the start of the music, they were in sync and never missed or skipped a beat and once the music ended, they posed and headed off of the stage.
"They're a great trio." Jill commented to Melissa, Christi and Kelly.
"Abby and Spencer call them the undefeated trio." Kelly told Jill.
"They haven't lost whenever they had a trio." Melissa added.
"Hopefully, they'll add another win." Christi stated, then they all headed back to the backstage area to get prepared for the group routine which took several minutes and once they were done, they got their costumes and changed into them.
Maddie, Nia, Brooke, Paige, Chloe and Kendall were all wearing a Spandex and mesh leotard with attached mesh skirt and sleeves.
"Those are some good costumes!" Jill told them.
"They are." Holly added, then the stagehand opened the door and told the girls that the group dance was next, then the six girls that were in the group dance left the dressing room as Abby, Spencer, Gianna, Vivi, Mackenzie and the moms all retook their seats to watch the group routines.
"Up next we have the Abby Lee Dance Company with Ying & Yang!" The girls came out to the stage after the name of their routine was called, they took their spots and waited for the music to start. When it did, the girls began to do their moves and were on beat from the start and made sure not to mess up in their group dance, then they posed at the end of the music and left the stage to applause, then the awards were next and the mini soloist division awards portion passed and next were the elite junior soloist division awards portion.
"In second place in our elite junior soloist division is Brooke from the Abby Lee Dance Company with A Little Dream!" Brooke gor up from sitting down and got the award from the announcer and she stood with the other dancers that placed in the elite junior solo portion.
"And our overall first place junior soloist is Nia from the Abby Lee Dance Company with Struck!" Nia had gotten up to receive the award from the announcer and that concluded the solo portion of the awards and next were the duet/trio division awards with places 10-2 being announced.
"In first place in our duet/trio division we have Maddie, Chloe and Paige from the Abby Lee Dance Company with Wild Warriors!"
"Still undefeated!" Kelly cheered.
"They sure are!" Melissa agreed.
"But we know wthat all good things might have to come to an end someday." Christi admitted, then the group awards were next as Abby, Spencer, Gianna, Vivi, Mackenzie and the moms were really hoping for a win to bring them back in the winning track as places 10 through 2 were announced and first place was next.
"In first place we have the Abby Lee Dance Company with Ying & Yang!" The girls all got up and got their award and with that, they were now back on the winning track after several losses at previous competitions
"Our losing streak has finally come to an end, we're back on the winning column!" Spencer cheered.
"We sure are!" Abby agreed.
"Even though it's late in the season, it's better late than never to get back to our winning ways!" Gianna added and in the dressing room, because of them breaking their losing streak, they had Sundae Ice Cream and once they were finished, they headed home.
