Minutes later, in the hallway of the performing arts center, the girls and moms were all talking with Abby, Spencer and Gianna about the competition and a minute later, Spencer looked and noticed that Cathy, Emily, Justice, Taylor, Tanya and Nicole walking in their direction.
"Uh oh, here comes miss trouble." Spencer informed as Cathy approached them.
"Hello there, congrats on your win." Cathy stated, but in the back of her mind, her dancers should have beaten Abby's girls or at least placed as Abby, her two kids, Gianna, the girls and the moms looked at her and rolled their eyes.
"Cathy's a dumb dumb." Mackenzie told the girls.
"She sure is." Maddie agreed.
"Glad Emily didn't win that spot or she would have caused a lot of trouble." Paige stated.
"I bet she couldn't handle Abby, Spencer and Gianna." Brooke said.
"This probably won't be the last time we'll see them again." Nia added.
"What Nia said." Chloe told them.
"That could be really likely." Kendall stated.
"I think she's finally gonna call it a season." Gianna whispered to Spencer and Abby.
"Gia, we highly doubt that." Abby replied.
"I've got to agree with mom and Spence." Vivi admitted.
"Since you lost to our girls, you're probably gonna call it a season." Holly predicted.
"Well, i could go back home to Canton to fix what was wrong, but we've decided to go to Lake Tahoe which means you haven't seen the last of us."
"Want to know something, Cathy?" Spencer stated. "We're so jealous of the people that haven't met you."
The minute he said that, everyone except for Cathy, Justice, Emily, Taylor, Tanya and Nicole all started laughing so hard from the comment that he had just made.
"That was a good one, Spence." Christi chortled
"He got Cathy good with that." Kelly stated through her laughter.
"Spence, you are something else!" Melissa laughed.
"He sure is, that's why we all love him." Vivi said.
"Laugh it up all you want, but let's see how hard you'll be laughing when you see us at Nationals with the National Title and you'll have no title!" Cathy told them.
"Even if you face us again, you'll lose to us like you did today." Gianna said.
"Whatever." Cathy sneered as she, her dancers and their moms all left.
"All right, girls. This was the last competition and our last stop is Nationals and we will be facing Cathy and the Candy Apples again, so you have to be on your A-Game the minute we get there." Abby told them.
"We got this, Miss Abby. We don't want to let you, Spence and Gia down." Nia told Abby, who smiled as Spencer and Gianna did the same thing, since they already had their bags, they exited the performing arts center and the time was 3:30 PM and they got on the bus after putting their bags in the luggage compartment, the bus then headed to Lake Tahoe.
Around 11:30 PM, it was night time and the bus was seen arriving at a hotel known as the Grand Residences of Marriott, they got off the bus and got their luggage from the luggage compartment, then the bus left as they went inside and like the last time, Abby got them checked in and was given card keys to give them.
"All right, we're gonna be on the 4th floor and Spencer, you've got a room and this time, Vivi and i will be next to your room, Gianna will be across the hall from Spencer's room, Melissa will share a room with Maddie, Holly and Nia will be sharing a room, Brooke, you'll share a room with Mackenzie and like last time, Chloe and Paige will share a room, Kendall and Jill will be sharing a room and Christi and Kelly will share a room." Abby stated as she then handed them their card keys
They got on the elevator and it took them to the fourth floor and once they got there, they walked into their hotel rooms to call it a night after an eight hour trip from L.A. to Lake Tahoe.
Spencer entered his hotel room and it was 750 square feet with air conditioning, it had a living room and a dining room, it had a bed, two bathrooms, sofa, chair, alarm clock, fireplace with a tv over it, a kitchen that had a refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, microwave, silverware, pots, pans and serving dishes, other dishes and glasses and there was another tv in the living room with a deck that gives a view of the pool.
"I've gotta admit, this is a cool hotel room, maybe i might go for a morning swim in the pool while we're here." Spencer stated, then once he unpacked, he headed to the bathroom and changed into a tanktop and sleeping pants, he then brushed his teeth and then headed to bed as tomorrow would be the first day of rehearsals for Nationals.
