Dear Diary,
I woke up at 7am with a long paragraph text from Elena. It said that Vickie was attacked by a mountain lion as assumed and she's at the hospital from blood loss. Eventhough I don't like Vickie, I understand that she helped distract Jeremy from our parent's death.I places my journal on the nightstand and refreshed myself in the shower before putting on a red skater dress pairing it with a black bomber jacket and low black heels. I put my beach wave hair up into a high ponytail and put on a little bit of make-up.
I slid down the banister down the stairs into the hall to watch Aunt Jenna put her hair up and down asking Elena for advice.
"Go up. It suits you better", I said to Jenna as they noticed me walk in.
"Up it is", she said and then put it up.
I looked around and wondered where Jeremy is. "Elena, Where's Jer?", I asked with my eyebrows furrowed together.
"He left early, something about woodshop class and needing to finish off a bird house", Aunt Jenna said before sighing and realising what she just said. "There's no woodshop class is there?", She asked, already knowing the answer.
Elena and I both nodded and left for school.
Mr Tanner walked up and down the desk isles, talking about some history but all I heard was blah blah blah. I watched Elena and Stefan look at each other in the corner of my eye and then he began to look at me too.
"Mr Salvatore, Miss Gilberts, am I bothering you?", He asked as he looks at all three of us.
"No, Mr Tanner", I said but Elena just looks at her desk slightly ashamed. He continued to talk but I didn't concentrate on him but question myself what's happening with Elena and Stefan.
I walked out of class just after the bell rang and watched Stefan give Elena a book which said 'Weathering heights'. After catching up with Bonnie and Caroline, who are also talking about a guy, I walked outside alone and noticed Stefan sitting on a bench alone, but looking like he's listening to an imaginary person.
I decided to head to the café which Elena, Bonnie and Caroline agreed on meeting at. I sat down next to them outside in the sun, listening to their conversation.
"I was talking to Grams and she said that the comet was a sign of impending doom.", Bonnie began to say but is rudely interrupted by Caroline jocking.
"Then you poured her another shot and she told you about the aliens", she says trying to get a laugh from us but was silent. She turned to Elena who had recently told us that she talked all night with Stefan whilst I was sleeping. "And then what happened?", She asked eigerly.
"And then we talked more", she said innocently.
Caroline looked shocked. "So no sloppy first kiss or touchy feely of any kind? What is with the blockage, just jump his bones already", Caroline states. I giggled slightly as Elena stood and agreed with her.
I stood too. "Wait, you're going to need backup", I say in protection. She nodded, allowing me to come with her.
After arriving at the boarding house, I stood at the door with my hand on the rope door bell with Elena by my side. I pulled it down and waited but there was no reply. I place my hand on the door to knock but after I knocked once, the door opened by itself.
We both gave each other a glance before I walked in and looked around. "Stefan?", I asked to see if anyone was there. We continued to walk in but there was no reply. Just before we turn to leave, the door is opened wide and a large crow flew in. Startling us. I placed myself infront of Elena as a force of habit to protect her.
