(A/N) Possible Sadness Warning

You and Peter were fairly new friends. You met at the yearly school science fair. You had re-created the solar system in immense detail, whilst Peter had created the periodic table elements.

Peter won, but you came a close second. You both realised that you got on really well, so you started hanging out with him more. You would go over to his to do group study, with Ned because he more often than not needed some assistance with his physics homework. You and Peter were more than happy to help.

Today was no different, you and Peter had arranged to meet at his apartment alone for a study night, accompanied with snacks and fizzy drinks. The previous nights, his Aunt May had been out, so you expected tonight to be no different.

You knocked on the door, and knowing normally it takes a minute for Peter to answer the door, you went to grab your phone when the door swung open, startling you slightly. You let out a squeal, then turned a beet red colour. You were faced with an older woman that you had never seen before, though you could definitely tell she was related to Parker. You gave her an apologetic yet polite smile, whilst walking in after she gestured you inside. "Hi, I'm Peters Aunt, May." "(Y/N), uh....It's great to meet you after such a long time." "Nonsense. It's great to meet the elusive '(Y/N), I was beginning to think Pete had made you up." You smiled, gesturing with jazz hands, then May added, "It's something he would do!"

You burst out laughing, exclaiming "It is! It really is" Whilst trying to calm yourself down. Peter chose this moment to walk in, looking amused at your sudden disposition.

Saying goodbye to May, you walked towards Peter, wrapping him in a friendly hug. "Hey Pete." You muttered in his ear. You let go after a long while, turning round and waving to May as you walked to Peters room.

Once the door was shut, you plonked your bag on the floor and took your usual seat on the bed, whilst Peter sat at his desk. You looked at the room to see the apparent absence of the food and drinks you were promised. You pointedly looked at Peter, who only looked back with an innocent smile. "Where's the food Pete? I might just have to leave if you lied about the snacks. You know as much as I do about my need for fuel." You teased with a playful smirk. Peter scrambled to his feet, tripping slightly on the foot of his office chair, causing him to land face first on the bean bag just in front of you.

He landed with a firm thump, and you could hear May shouting through from the other room, "You alright In there?" Peter replied in a strangled tone "Yes Aunt May. Just showing (Y/N) some...Kung fu." You looked at Peter in disbelief at his failure of lying.

"Im just gunna get those...snacks." Peter uttered before jumping up, dusting of his knees, and stumbling out the door like a new born elephant. You rolled your eyes and chuckled at to yourself at his now familiar antics, then starting pulling your stuff out your backpack.

Legs crossed, glasses on, you set to work with the days homework. It wasn't much of struggle considering you excelled in Physics, but it was still a slight brain teaser. Peter re-entered much more gracefully than how he left, though this time you were slightly distracted by the sheer amount of food in Peter's (surprisingly muscly) arms. You jumped up from your position on the bed, racing towards Peter to help carry some of the food to the bed.

A couple hours of work and food later, you lay back, head pounding and legs aching. Peter was still working hard, hunched over his desk with the beginnings of a frown present on his face. You hated to disturb him whilst he looked so concentrated, so you quietly walked towards the door, and when you saw Peter look at you questioningly, you just said you were going to use the bathroom.
