"Mom, we still need to stop by Teddy's house to get my car. I left it there last night. They dropped me off this morning and forgot I had my car at their house." I told my mom as we were about to pass up Teddy's neighborhood." I didn't forget.", she said as we turned into her neighborhood.

I pulled out my phone and dialed Teddy's number but she didn't seem to answer. I then sent her text saying that i was about to pull up into her drive way. I called two more times, on the second try she answered.
"Yes, Cammy, Ted answered sounding like she was barely waking up.
"I'm about to pull up to your house so I can say goodbye and get my car." I said as I was pulling up to her driveway.
"Ugh.. okay I'm getting up" Teddy groaned hanging up the phone. "What did Teddy say?" My mom asked as she put the car in "park".
I looked ahead out the front window and saw Teddy coming out the front door. I opened the door and gave Teddy a big, welcoming hug. She pulled my keys out from her sweaters pocket and dangled them. "Here's your keys", she said with a smile.
Teddy has always been a happy person, always looked on the bright side of things, even me moving. I can always go to her to make me feel better. I've known her for two years, longer then most my friends. I love that she's a happy person and brightens up my day but, I think its sad that I'd get so depressed to where I'd avoid hanging out with her, so I could stay sad. I don't understand how he could be happy at a time like this, I'm leaving her forever.
I grabbed my keys and headed to my car. My mom pulled out her car. As I backed out I waved goodbye to Teddy.
And that was the last time I was gonna see her for awhile.
