The Rejects Volume 6: Return to Heroics (Complete)

Return pt 2

Isaiah: It just hit me.
Aiden: What?
Isaiah: You guys were superheroes, living in a building built by Toby, had a jet, van, and motorcycles. Holy shit, you guys were fucking superheroes.
Crystal: Yeah.
Aiden: So what do we do now?
Mike: We get Dex up and running and get suited up and see if we can find some thugs to get back into shape.
???: Well I'll be damn.
Everyone turn around to see Tyler standing in the door way.
Tyler: You're back.
Mike: Yeah, I'm back.
Tyler walks towards the computer and presses a key and the computer turns on.
Dex: *yawn* Hey Tyler, you need some- Mike!!
Mike: Hey Dex.
Dex: Are the Rejects back?
Mike: I mean I got Crystal,Aiden, and Tyler.
Isaiah: What about me?
Mike: We don't know what your powers are Isaiah.
Isaiah: You could've asked.
Isaiah then reached out his arm and it stretched out like Mr.Fantastic.
Isaiah: I can stretch every limb.
Mike: Elasto.
Isaiah: That is not my name.
Mike: Deal with it.
Mike walks towards his suit locker and opens it up and sees his costume. He pulls out the mask and looks at it. He then grabs the rest of the suit and soon Crystal and Tyler grab there costumes.

(few minutes later)

Tyler steps out with his costume on and sees Crystal putting on some black shades.
Tyler: Why you wearing shades at night?
Crystal: It's to hide my identity. Remember, I'm a cop now.
They both turn around to see Mike step out wearing his costume but now his skull vest is gone and is now just a plain bulletproof vest, and his mask is just a black starlord mask.
Crystal: What's with the new look?
Mike: I don't feel like I'm ready for the skull yet.
Isaiah: Eh, you still look scary.
Isaiah steps wearing a black jacket, yellow vest, black jeans, black boots, and a black mask like Jess's.
Crystal: What the hell you wearing?
Isaiah: My costume...
Tyler: Looks terrible.
Aiden: You look terrible.
Aiden steps out wearing his costume.
Aiden: So boss, you ready?
Mike: Yeah, let's go.
Mike walks but realizes the others aren't following.
Mike: Guys, ya coming?
Aiden: You forget to say it.
Mike: Say what?
Aiden: You know what I'm talking about.
Mike: *sigh* Rejects, It's time to ride!
Aiden: That's better.

(in the city)

A goon walks out of the alley and looks to see if anyone is coming, when he knows it's clear he waves his hand and Ricochet walks out.
Ricochet: Goddamnit. It was nice and peaceful since the Rejects been gone but now that Domino guy is killing my costumers, it's making wish the Rejects were back.
???: Really Ricochet?
Ricochet turns around and sees Mike,Crystal,Tyler,Aiden,and Isaiah all in cool poses on the rooftops.
Tyler: You missed us?
Ricochet: Everyone but you Cinderblock!!
Ricochet lifted his hand and his gauntlet fired a blast of energy towards Tyler. Tyler smirks and jumps off the rooftop and a concrete platform appeared and caught him. The other Rejects jump off the rooftops and surround Ricochet and his goon.
Ricochet: Fine, fine, we surrender.
Ricochet lifts his hands up and Tyler punches him in the face.
Crystal: Cinderblock!
Tyler: What? I'm not used to villians surrendering. We don't have cuffs so we can't-
Then Tyler stopped and tyen coughed up blood. He looked down and saw a blade going through his chest.
???: Ironic, isn't it?
The Rejects turn around saw Domino stabbibg his sword through Tyler's chest.
Domino: He killed you Immortal by through a spear in you chest, which started this whole thing off and now he dies with a sword through his chest.
Domino then pulled out his sword and kicked Tyler's body onto the ground.
Domino: Remember Immortal, I'm no Slayer.
Domino then cuts off Ricochets goon's head off.
Domino: This ain't a game Mike, I take my prey very seriously. You better hope no one else you care about dies in front of you again.
Domino walks off and the Rejects run towards Tyler.
Aiden: Tyler?!
Tyler eyes looked scared for a second and then relief, and then... Nothing. Tyler's body goes limp and his head falls to the ground. The four heroes look down at their comrade.
???: TYLER!!!!
The four turn around to see Nelson flying down towards them. He lands and falls to his knees.
Nelson: He's gone.
Mike went up to Nelson and put his hand on his shoulder.
Nelson: I'm sorry old friend, I'm sorry.
