Chapter 2

I ran. I sprinted. Away.
WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO ME!?
WHO WAS THAT!?
IS THIS BECAUSE I TOOK THAT PILL!?
I ran into the girls bathroom.
He can't come in here.
I ran in and immediately locked myself in the nearest stall. I caught my breath and allowed my heart to go back to its regular pace.,He appeared in the stall in front of me.
"(Y/N), why did you run away? I will explain everything to you." His voice was so soothing.
My heart slowed down.
"Who are yo-"
"(Y/N), I am your Squip. I am here to assist you with your life and goals. I monitor and scan your thoughts too. But before you say anything else I would like to point out that I am inside your head so you are the only one who can see and hear me, that is unless I go into another mode where I can be viewed by others, but that mode uses a lot of energy so I can only be in it for a few hours at one time. So if you have questions then think at me."
I responded. "Like in X-Men?"
He chuckled at me me. "Yes, like in X-Men?"

Damn.. he's a super computer and he's gorgeous.

"Why thankyou (Y/N), I'm glad you think so." He smirked at me and then winked. "But the bell for your next class is going to ring in 28.4 seconds. You have Music, Drama and then English. I would usually stay but I'm going to use that time to monitor your thoughts, and previous memories so that I may communicate with you better and understand how to help you. If it is an emergency then just think at me." He flashed me a smile. "I'll see you soon (Y/N)."

The bell then rang just as he had predicted. I unlocked the stall and smoothed the creases out of my clothing before making my way to class.

I waved goodbye to Michael and walked into my house. I assumed that Jeremy was still mad at me and needed time to cool off. I just hoped that he wouldn't stay mad at me for too long..

I unlocked my front door and opened it before walking inside to go to my bedroom. Before reaching my bedroom door, I noticed a brightly coloured note on the kitchen bench. It was from Mum.

Hey (Y/N),
I'm going to be home late tonight because of work but I know you'll be alright. Just call me if there are any problems.

PS. For dinner feel free to order yourself a pizza- my treat!

"Your mother seems to be a lovely woman (Y/N), we will have to order that pizza AFTER you finish your maths homework" He giggled at me.

"Ergh.. fine. Could you please help me with the homework?" I asked, my voice shaking a little.

"Of course. I'm a super computer (Y/N), I'm made of maths." We both giggled.
I walked to my bedroom and dropped my bag beside my desk. I lent down and fiddled with the zipper before unzipping it and retrieving my maths book and pencil case. I opened my book up to a fresh page and stared at the first question in the textbook.
