Why are Azal's called what they are?
When they were finally discovered, people were puzzled about when they actually existed so they gave the species name "Azal", meaning "existence with no beginning".

How do Azal's develop their pelt colours+ designs + imprints?
Once they are born, they can never genetically change their pelt colours unless they dye it but they don't have that in their habitats, but their designs and imprints can, since they grow relatively fast, their patterns shift and stretch out, making slightly different shapes.

What do Azal's look like?
Azal's have a long, lanky build, they are made for running and enduring harsh climates. They have long, thick tails which help them defend, balance and hang onto branches to climb. A whip from these tails can break minor bones, cause large bruises & swelling. They also have spikes protruding from the end of their tail, given to them as a defence mechanism. Azal's have curved, sharp claws that is effective for digging but can also do a great deal of damage, their pads are thick and can withstand a drop of 60". They have large ears which can turn 180°, giving them a superior sense of hearing. The Azal's are typically well-known for their wide mouths and sharp teeth which can pierce through many specimens. Their teeth are slightly angled backwards to prevent whatever's in there from coming loose to their grip.

How do Azal's breed or keep their species from dying out?
Azal's reproduce sexually and stay with their mate for life (they never leave their mates unless something happens to them).

What do Azal's eat & drink?
Azal's are omnivores but would normally prefer meat. They eat a large variety of meat, including: cow, boars, sheep, goat, bird and rodents. They also consume herbs, fruits and berries if desperate or desired. These fellas can drink spring water, sea water, rain water and juice from fruits, but not too much or else they'll get a minor stomach ache, spring water would be best for their health.

Do Azal's have different pelt colours + thickness if they live in different biomes?
Azal's actually inhabit four biomes in the world which are: Savanna + Rainforest + Alpine + Chaparral. Savanna Azal's typically have short, thin fur which vary from sandy coloured, brown, to white. Rainforest Azal's have thick fur varying from black to brown fur, Alpine Azal's have thick pelts varying from white, blue to grey fur, and lastly, Chaparral Azal's have thick pelts varying from green, teal, grey to blue.

Are they solitary or social?
Azal's are typically social & would stay in a relatively big groups, ranging from 10-20, also known as "Savages". If they ever produce an offspring, they would raise them until they are 3 years old & the parents would let them hunt for themselves but would still give them affection. Savages would hunt and defend each other and would typically stay in one area unless the area has deforestation, forest fire, flood, drought, (whatever that ruins their home).

Do they like interaction with humans?
These mammals are very hostile & aggressive towards other species (especially humans because Azal's see them as land-hungry monsters, except for their prey (because they're harmless).

What sexuality does Azal's have?
They are commonly heterosexual but a minority are LGBT+. Azal's are accepting & would rarely show disgust in different sexualities (homophobia is extremely rare).

Disclaimer!
These are a closed species so please don't make any "oc" from my species or else... nothing happens except for a very upset Stag. So please don't steal them, Azal's are really close to my heart & I cherish them very much.
