Chrysalis and Sombra were ordered to stay in the castle library while the Princesses did royal duties. Chrysalis was often reading Harlequin Romance novels, while Sombra gazed upon her beauty. Three hours after, Princess Twilight Sparkle and Discord entered the library. "Hello. The Princesses told me to check on you-". "Alright Twilight I shall take it from here! Hello there young ones! Welcome to Equestria!". discord said enthusiastically, confetti flying everywhere. Sombra looked unimpressed, while Chrysalis gaze grew violent. Her pupils were even more slit than before. She began to hiss violently. Sombra noticed this and tried to calm her down. Yet it only got worse. She hid behind Sombra, still looking ferocious. Sombra looked at his Queen, glared, and said, "He has to leave...". Discord protested with sass, "What?! Oh no way sistah! I came to help and-". "Leave, now!". Sombra interrupted, his horn lighting up. Discord snapped his fingers, disappearing out of sight. Twilight sighed, looking at Sombra and Chrysalis. Sombra helped Chrysalis up onto her hooves, both smiling at each other. Twilight then had an idea! As she galloped out of the library, Sombra nuzzled Chrysalis and asked, "Are you alright?". Chrysalis nodded.
An hour later, Twilight, Cadence, and Shining Armor came in. "Sombra, Chrysalis. Meet Cadence and Shining Armor. Though I'm sure you two met before... ehehe...". Neither any of them answered. "Okay...". Twilight continued, "So, we were thinking... If you care for each other and all, a-and you want to become actual royalty. Then... (sigh), Then you have to marry and have an heir.". "WHAT?!". Chrysalis and Sombra said in sync. "That's right! We can help you with the wedding if you want!". Cadence added, smiling a bit. "Oh no! No no no! No way! No how!". Chrysalis exclaimed, crossing her hooves together. Sombra blushed brightly. Twilight sighed, "We will... let you think about it in your room.
