" it'll be fine, i'm here. „

"How can I be sure that everything you're telling me is true?" Kimberly raised a brow, she raised so many brows that day that her brows could've been flying by now. "I don't know yet, but when I get the chance to find some proof. I'll notify you."
Kimberly couldn't help but let out a giggle, "So Will got kidnapped by a real life demogorgon and you met this girl named Eleven who can control things with her mind?"
"Yeah."
"God, at least make it realistic." The young girl chuckled, Mike furrowed his brows and sighed. "It's true."
"Do you like Eleven?"
"What?" Mike's eyes widened, as if he didn't know if it was true. "Do you like Eleven?" Kimberly repeated, "Why would you think that?"
Kimberly let out a chuckle and then it was quickly replaced by a cheeky smile. "You talk about her like some kind of Goddess, I'm starting to think she's mythological."
"She's real!"
"Now you sound like a devoted Christian." They both laughed but Mike immediately paused when Kimberly asked again. "So, do you like Eleven?" Mike fell into silence as he hesitantly shook his head. "Really?" Kimberly rolled her eyes, "I don't like her, okay?"
"Fine, fine." Kim laughed, they both sat on inflated bean bags yet managed to be so comfortable. Kimberly never felt more alive than now yet she did wish the others were here too. "I believe you."
Mike looked at her, clearly alerted. "What?" Mike asked once again, Kimberly laughed a little before speaking once again. "I believe you. I mean there's no other way to describe Will's disappearance, right?" Mike nodded, "You still want evidence?" He asked, curiosity rang in his voice. "Of course I do."
"Speaking of disappearances and this so called The Upside Down..." Kimberly paused, "Is Barb somewhat related to the situation?" Mike fell into silence, that question made him uncomfortable.
He knew what had happened to Barb but he wasn't sure if he was going to really tell Kimberly. It would break her heart to a million pieces.
"Mike?"
He looked up at her, only to see her blue eyes. Who the living fuck could lie while looking at her eyes? "Yes."
Fuck! Mike thought, he had let it slip. What was he going to do now?
"Really? Do you know where she is? Is she alive?" Those questions made Mike shudder, he knew if he had told her the entire story she would blame him and Nancy for the rest of their lives. He clicked his tongue before answering.
It took a few seconds for Mike to look Kimberly at the eyes once again, hopeful eyes thinking that she'd meet her sister again. "Kim..." Mike tried to speak, his hand slowly enclosing Kim's, holding it tight. Kimberly looked at him, clearly confused but held into his hand as well. "Mike?"
"She's gone," the boy spoke as Kimberly's eyes widened as a sign of reaction. "What?"
"Barb is gone, the demogorgon..." Mike looked down and so did the girl, both of them looking at their hands. "It got her?"
Kimberly's voice shaked, Mike didn't look up until he felt tears fall to their enclosed hands. Mike hesitantly nodded, causing Kimberly to break down, tears falling down her cheek. "No! That's impossible!" Kim pleaded, removing her hand from his. "She can't be! I know her."
"Kimberly--"
"Why didn't you tell me?" She looked at him, cutting his sentence. Her eyes were teary and dripping. Mike looked down, and reluctantly spoke. "We had to keep it a secret." Kimberly covered her face using her hands. "We?"
Mike choked back his words but it came out. "Will, Lucas, Me, Mrs. Byers and Hopper."
"Hopper told you to keep a secret? You could've at least told me! You could've at least told my parents so we're happy again!" Kim pleaded, "The government is watching." He explained but Kimberly shook her head furiously, "Fuck the government!"
Mike hushed her but it only caused Kimberly to let out a soft cry, "Your parents would never believe us." Kimberly continued to sob. "I understand..." The young girl lied, yet let out a few soft cries in the process.
Mike took her hand once again and wrapping it with his, "It'll be fine, I'm here."

That night, Kimberly couldn't sleep. She sat on her desk's chair, with her headphones and walkman on. She let out a few whimpers before beginning to write again.
"Dear Barb,
Mike told me you were gone. You were dead. Is that true? It can't be. You can't leave me yet, not now.
If it is then... I don't know what to say. I'm sorry, I guess. I'm sorry that I called you a bitch once for hanging out with Harrington. I'm sorry for bitching about everything and you'd have to hear through my annoying rants. I love you, okay? I know you've never heard me say that but I want you to know that I appreciate you. So if you're still out there, please oh please Barb... Come back.
Sincerely yours,
Your idiot sister."***
