"He's a spy."

Everyone glanced at the pacing boy named Mike, his face were painted with a frantic expression, clearly started to make Kimberly worry.  "The spy!"

Will shook his head, "It's too late. They're coming." He stated, causing everyone to look at him in confusion except Kim and Mike who exchanged frantic looks.

Everyone weren't too alert until the alarms went off and started beeping, that when all knew they were all too late.

She watched as Mike exits the room to warn the soldiers but Kimberly knew all too well that it was too late. "Mike! We need to go now."

"No! I need to warn them." Mike pleaded but Kim shook her head. "Mike, this is a code red! We need to leave now."

It didn't take just that to make Mike leave, until he heard a soldier scream in agony. "Mike..." Kimberly begged, causing Mike to shake his head and grabs her wrist to make sure they come back to the room safely.

"What's going on?" Joyce approached them in complete horror, Kimberly remained stiff and silent. "We're under attack."

Mike began to look around the room, looking for supplies to make Will unconscious, it didn't take a while for Mike to tell Kimberly to do the same. The pair began to look for more supplies, eventually, Kimberly got ahold of a clean syringe and anesthesia.

Joyce interrupted.

"Now, what exactly are you going to do with that?" Joyce asked, "We need to make Will unconscious," Joyce looked at them, quite terrified at their response. "Why?"

"He's a spy!" Kimberly defended, gesturing at Will. "The monsters are using him to spy on us, he's the reason why all those soldiers are dead!"

Will's eyes widened as he began to panic, "they're lying!"

"They're lying! They're lying! They're lying!" Will kept on yelling as he racked the bed back and forth. "Listen, do you still know who I am?" Joyce asked, worry flooded on her face.

"You're... you're mom."

"Hold him down." Joyce told Bob which he did, Kimberly, despite hesitant, slowly injected the panicking Will with the anesthesia causing his eyes to roll back and fall into sleep.

As Will'e cries go silent, the door of the room was slammed, each and everyone of them were terrified of what will happen next. It didn't take a while till they heard monsters trying to claw and open the door of the room.

"We need to go, now."

Hopper gently picked up Will from his bed and Joyce grabbed mpre anesthesia, meanwhile, Kimberly held tight to her syringe.

The group started to run as fast as they could, and as they do, numerous screams and shrieks were heard from people who were eventually dying. The entire group gets caught up by two small demogorgons, causing Dr. Owens to push them inside another room.

"Oh my god," Bob speaks, causing Kimberly to turn around to about ten monitors that presented the entire building. Kimberly felt a shiver go through her spine, cause in every monitor she looked, was a dead person.

Despite the black-out, Dr. Owens turns on a light that weren't affected. He immediately took out a map that were previously pinned to the wall and set it down on a desk. "Here is where we are," Dr. Owens points at a room in the map, and slides his finger across it. "And here's the nearest exit. But even if it's pretty close, there's certainly no way out."

Hopper turns to look at the doctor with a confused look plastered on his face, "What do you mean?"

"The locks are fail secure."

"Fail secure?" Joyce, who were previously pacing the floor, disturbed in a slightly hushed tone.

"If there's a power outage, the building's locks will go fail secure, basically the entire building will go lockdown." Owens explains, Kimberly began to approach Mike who were siting helplessly on a chair, she pat his back in hopes to at least ease him down.

"Can it be remotely unlocked?" Bob interfered, raising his hand like a student who's bound to answer a question, except this time, the student is the one asking the question. "You have to reset the breakers in the basement." Owens explained.

This caused Hopper to stand up but everyone exchanged confused looks, "Where are you going?"

"To reset the breakers," Hopper answered, but Bob pulled his arm back to stop him. "Do you even know how? Do you even know BASIC?"

"BASIC?"

"A computer programming language," Mike interfered, and Hopper looked really confused. "Do you know BASIC?" Bob repeated, but Hopper shook his head.

Bob sighed deeply, "Fine, I'll do it." But before he could exit the room, Joyce grabs his arms begging him to stay.

Kimberly rolls her eyes.

"Bob Newby, Superhero." He smiles sadly, Kimberly couldn't help but grin at the man's positivity even if it's a life or death situation.

It didn't take a while until they heard the doors open. Kimberly smiled at Mike who returned it, Bob did it.

Mike runs to the mic to signal Bob, and Kimberly tagged along, "Okay Bob, can you hear us?" The pair laughed. "Loud and clear kids, can you hear me?"
