"Better get your hugs and kisses in to your loved ones because in two days the end of the world is beginning" the tv spoke.

"I'm Kent brockmann and here's what you need to prepare:" I tuned out after that.

Why now? Why right after I find out I have a secret brother and I was adopted?

"Y/n.. get ready we are leaving to meet your brother!" My dad yelled.

I was an icon, made famous from my dad after I sang in one of his shows.

The phone started ringing

"Pick up the phone babe" my dad yelled

I ran over to pick up the hot pink telephone.

"Hello?" My breathing hitched

It was him! My brother

"Mike?" I asked eagerly

"Y/n? Holy shit Dustin it's the right number!" I heard him exclaim

"I'm leaving to meet you in a few hours. I'll be there by tomorrow" I smiled through the phone.

"Great I can't wait to see you! Well I have to go eat dinner. Goodbye y/n!" He stoped talking and the line went blank

And with that I put the phone down and went to pack my stuff up, I threw on this outfit not really knowing what to wear. I put a beret on for a nice touch

and some combat wear just incase I would stay for the end

God I wanted to cry but I'd be happy with my twin brother mike wouldn't I?

Besides, I need a mother figure.

It could be my older sister Nancy if it comes down to that in the end.

"Now entering Hawkins!" My dad squealed to me, hoping to capture my excitement.
