You woke up in the middle of the night. Feeling a chill up your spine since your bedroom window appeared to be open. You got up from your queen-sized bed and draped your thick fucia blanket around you. You were about to close the window but you saw something in the distance. Something was running away from your castle. It was extraordinary fast. It looked like a horse. It probably was. You shrugged it off and went back to sleep wondering what it was that you just saw.

Music. You heard a relaxing beautiful sound of music. It drifted you to sleep after hours of being awake. You felt so sleepy. Your tight dress, sunlight in your eyes, and the sound of your own violin couldn't keep you awake.

You laid down in the flower meadow of your father's kingdom. Violet petals blended into your frilly, poofy, and quite sparkly light pink dress. Your hair had some gold barrette's and braids that gathered some of the little twigs on the ground, which actually made your hair look prettier. But anyways, you were sleepy. Very sleepy. You honestly didn't care about who or what was making that music. You just didn't want it to stop.

But that's when it it got louder.

The moment it did you sat up and gazed at the steep hill below you. It sounded like it was right next to you but nothing was around you. That's when you could faintly hear where it could be coming from. You stared at it. Mesmerized it. Envied it.

The forest.

The forest where your Dad forbade you travel into without at least three guards. But the music was that way. You needed to find out. You ran to the forest and leaped through bushes and twigs. Your dress would get caught and your sleeves got a little torn but other than that you seemed to be just fine.

The further entered the forest, the louder the music got. You smiled about finding out who could be playing the music. That's when you saw the river of purest crystal waters. You ran faster, hearing the sweet tune of the music.

Then you saw it.

You froze in place at what you saw. You wanted to scream but you couldn't. A centaur was playing the flute on a rock that was surrounded by other animals. He had a horse bottom half. All colored in dark brown. He was shirtless which showed off his muscular human upper half. His hair was styled in an under cut. Black on the bottom, light brown on top. He played the flute with his eyes closed like he had no care in the world. The animals around him seemed at peace. You stared at him. You silently walked up to him. He was at least three times your size. You looked at his face. It startled you how human he looked yet how he was half animal. When he opened his eyes you saw the golden orbs of sun itself. They were so bright and full of life you almost forgot to breathe.

But he noticed you. His eyes went blank and widened at seeing just standing next to him. He leaped off the rock, his legs jerked backward almost hitting your face and he fell on the ground. Spinning and untangling his legs. You stared at him trying to regain his balance. Once he did, he stared at you. Into your (eye color) eyes were blank but filled with curiosity.

"What's you name?" You asked making the centaur flinch a bit. He backed up and the animals around him were long gone. "I said you are you?" You asked again, with more authority in your voice. The centaur looked around as if wondering if you were talking to him. Then he looked at your dress. His eyes showed much confusion. As if he never saw a dress like yours before. You got a little annoyed with his reluctance to answer your question. You stepped forward one inch and that was enough to set him off into a full sprint. Disappearing into the wilderness. Leaving you all alone.
