(MEME JUNHUI FTW: a/n picture this: junhui playing the role of a misunderstood and homeless but talented dancer trying to figure out if he's good enough and someone finds him and realises jun has a beautiful mind and that he's so unique that he turns everything into something beautiful and the person is like "we want to give you a chance" and allow jun into their dance crew where they go around trying to make a living by busking and together through struggles they're able to make it off of change)

(can you tell i miss actor!jun yet?)

"Wonwoo? What are you on about?" Junhui's mother asks, confusion swirling inside of those deep brown eyes. It's not every day someone comes up to you and says that the boy in front of you isn't your son's actual boyfriend but rather that another person is. She presumes it's like a messed up drama which is ironic considering her own son used to be a child actor.

Wonwoo looks at Jun who's practically quivering and Jungkook who has now removed his arm from Jun's waist although the reassuring hand remains on top of the startled kitten's, sits with a stoic expression on his face.

Jun's step dad looks more annoyed that the dinner was interrupted than anything but still, he listens intently, keen on what Wonwoo has to say.

"Jungkook isn't your son's boyfriend ─ I am." From the side, he can see Jun trying to slip under the table and most likely thinking of spells from Harry Potter that will allow him to turn him into dust but Jungkook stops him by hooking his leg around Junhui's (although, Wonwoo can't see that; he can only see the sudden ruddy cheeks and blames it on the alcohol laying on the table.)

"Junhui, is that true?" His father lets his mother do all the talking, silently wishing he could be eating food and watching a good old Chinese classic in his house. Instead, he's listening to boy troubles. Now that is something he'd never thought he'd say.

"No, it isn't." Jungkook speaks for Junhui whilst the frightened boy drowns himself in water. Literally. He takes the vase, taking out the white carnations and pouring the clear liquid over his face, practically drenching himself in water.

"Why don't you let Junhui answer for himself, Jungkook?" Wonwoo says passive aggressively; a smile on his face but malice intentions seep through the nice gesture. Jungkook smiles too, dabbing away the water on Junhui's cheeks with the neatly folded red napkin. Junhui smiles sheepishly, hiding his face with the rosy napkins. Wonwoo sighs ー a long, exasperated sigh, long and loud enough to disturb the rest of the customers.

"Wonwoo, could you take a seat? You're going to be thrown out..." Junhui says quietly, barely audible at that but Wonwoo agrees, as though throwing water over yourself is insignificant to standing up. He takes the free seat next to Jun and senses the latters shoulders tensing up. His heart aches at that to be truthful; the organ clenching at the thought that his own boyfriend is 'scared' of him.

Junhui stays mute for a few passing moments; the sound of water dripping from his dampened locks and the light music coming from the black grand piano being the only reminder that time is going by and that Jun is not currently doing the manikin challenge.

Jun fidgets with his fingers, eyes downcast before looking up and at his parents direction. Wonwoo leans back on his chair, smile blooming as he's about to hear the words from Junhui. The confirmation, said by Junhui himself. Wonwoo finds his heart racing as the tension builds up as he so desperately awaits to hear the few words.

Jun stutters while speaking, "Wonwoo is- well he's─ he's not my boyfriend. Jungkookie is." Wonwoo can't even process the information before he's throwing the table on it's side, causing Jun's family and Jungkook to quickly push back on their chairs, the legs scraping against the wooden floor like a cat scratching a chalkboard.
