GOD
I spoke The Word
I spoke The Word that brought light
That separated the waters from the heights
I gave you the Breath of Life
Alone, I brought you a wife
Sin came
And as a consequence, strife
I spoke The Word to the Prophets
Devoted, they cared less about profits
Prophecies
The people stay blind to what prophets see
Remember the Proverbs, the Psalms of David
The Spirit is speaking, take heed
You cannot escape The Presence- Jonah
The soul should never flee from its Owner.
MAN
After the Foundation comes Fulfilment.
The Word from Inception
Made Flesh; Immaculate Conception
Walked on the sea
Made the blind see
Set the captives free
Died on the cross for me.
Resurrection morning, glorious
Death, where is thy sting?
Fall on your knees and bow to your King.
Open your ears to The Word
Kill faithlessness with the Spirit's sword
Join the assembly in one accord
As we give praise to our Lord-
The Spoken Word.
