3. Dangerous Liaisons

Rebekah called me earlier and said to meet her and her house. So thats where l am going right now.
l was about to knock at their house when l remembered l don't do that.
l walked right into the house to see Rebekah's compelled girl painting her nails. Finn getting a suit fitted also Elijah and Kol standing in front of the mirror looking at himself.
"You called Rebekah?" l asked. She looked up and smiled. She shooed the girl and stood up.
"Ah yes, l called because we are throwing a ball and we'd liked you to attend" She smiled. "And l want to go shopping" she added and smiled. l signed because you can't say no to Rebekah wanted to go shopping. "But first sit and lets talk" she said and sat back down. l sat next to her. l raised my brows at her.
"Oh yea, so do you like the doppleganger?" She asked. l scoffed. "That girl is better off dead than alive." l said and shrugged. She smirked. "And that is why were are still best friends" she said. l chuckled. "Rebekah, tell me how handsome l am" Kol said. "Oh Kol, you know l can't be compelled" She said. l laughed as did Finn. Klaus barged in.
"You went after Elena. What is wrong with you" Klaus said. "Here we go" she said. "do you want another dagger in your heart?" he asked looking serious. "Again with the dagger threats, don't you have any other tricks" Kol said. l laughed.
Klaus looked at Kol. "Oh go back to staring at yourself" Klaus said. l laughed again. "Who are you my father?" Kol asked. "No Kol, but your in my house" Klaus said and walked further towards him. "Then perhaps we should go outside" Kol said. Rebekah nudged my elbow to stop it.
l stood up. They stayed silent for a few seconds. "Enough!" l said. "Its getting rather old seeing you two bicker at each other" l said and glared at Ester who walked into the room.
"Niklaus come" she said and walked out. l eyed her suspiciously. l raised one eyebrow and Klaus and he nodded. He walked out.
l listened on their conversation when Klaus said "l don't understand. l killed you and you forgive me" he said. l scoffed "tu mamá loca quiere matarte, maldito tonto" l said in spanish (translation: your crazy mom wants to kill you, you fucking dumb)
"Lets go to the grill Rebekah. And it wasn't a question" l said and dragged Rebekah out.
We went to the grill and Elena and Caroline were there. Oh fun.
"Careful Caroline, its all well and good till she stabs you in the back" Rebekah said."What are you doing here, i know your moms runs no murdering the locals" Elena said and smirked. "Get over yourself Elena, its not all about you" Bekah said and walked away.
"No it not. But l am pretty hungry" l said and smirked. "Ester's rules Amber" Elena said and smirked. "But Ester's not my mommy. And l don't really listen or like her. Well see who l eat next. It could be Matt, or Sheriff Forbes. Um? Who to chose?" l said and smirked and walked towards Rebekah.
*Later*
Rebekah and l have been shopping for dresses for 2 hours. We finally found the perfect dresses. "Finally my feet are killing me" l said. "So Matt? Huh?" l said and smirked. "Oh shut up. So Kol? Huh?" She mimicked me. l glared at him. It is true thought. l think l like her brother Kol. "Shut up" l mumbled and she laughed. "Come on the ball starts in 2 hours. Lets go get ready at my place" She said when she finished compelling the dresses for us.
*Later*
So l got ready and heres my finishing touch.
Me and Rebekah are still upstairs cause she's finishing her hair. We can hear the music and people downstairs. So good. l never liked being the first one in the party.
We walked downstairs and Rebekah went to go find Matt. l saw the Mayor Lockwood talking to Damon.
"Amber lets be nice and introduced ourselves" Kol said. "l agree" l replied and he led me towards them.
"Mayor Lockwood, we haven't formally met. Kol Mikaelson" Kol said and got her hand and kissed her knuckles. l felt something in me. Jealously? Nah that can't be, can it?
"Amber Stone" l said. "Salvatore" Damon added. "No Damon, l was an adopted Salvatore. That got destroyed when you almost killed me and when l learned you daggered Elijah" l said.
"Damon Salvatore. Have we met?" Damon said and held a hand towards Kol. "I've met a lot of people, and you don't partially stand out" Kol said. l laughed at his comment. Kol walked away and dragged me along with him.
Elena walked in and Damon stared at her. "I'll be back Kol" l said and walked away before him answering.
"Ester want to speak to you? Why?" l asked Elena. "l don't know. l was hoping you would know since your close to the Mikaelson's but l guess not." Elena said. "Oh this isn't good. And l am close the the Mikaelson's l just hate Ester. And she hates me so l don't really speak to her" l said and walked away.
"Huh. If everyone can gather please" Elijah spoke. Rebekah grabbed me and took me to the stairway. Elijah, Rebekah, Finn, Kol, and Klaus were there along with me. l stood in between Rebekah and Kol.
"Thank you for joining us" Elijah said and Ester came down the stairs and looked over at the crowd towards Elena. "You know whenever my mother, brings out family and friends together like this" Elijah looked towards me and raised his glass and smiled. l did the same and he returned towards his speech. "Its tradition for us to commence the evening with a dance, tonights pick is a centuries old waltz, so if all of you can please find yourself a partner, please join us in the ball room" Elijah said and went down the stairs.
Kol held out his hand and "Dance with me, love" he said. l signed "Fine" l said and went downstairs.
We went into the ball room and started the dance.
*After the dance*
So in the dance we were supposed to switch partners. l ended up with Klaus and Elijah so it wasn't that bad.
"Where is your date" Kol asked Rebekah while l stood next to him. "Flirting with his ex" she replied. "You've changed Bekah, settling for mortals, is the first sign of weakness." he said. "I'm not settling, l brought him here to kill him, he's Elena's friend, if he dies she suffers, but I've already been scolded once, l was hoping you 2 would help your baby sister and best friend out" She said. "And spit right in the face of mothers rules" Kol said. "I'm in" l said. Rebekah nodded and looked at Kol.
"I'm in" He said. "Jeez, can't you find your own words?" l asked. He looked at me and smiled. "No can do love. Your words fascinate me" he said. l rolled my eyes.
"Hold up i'll stay here and listen to your mothers conversation with Elena" l said and walked to find Elijah.
"Elijah!" l said. He turned around. "Somethings wrong. l can smell sage from your mothers room. She is trying to keep the conversation private" l said.
*Later*
When Elena came down me and Elijah went to speak to her.
"So how was my mother?" Elijah asked. "Intense" She said. "And what reason was she needed to speak to you in private" Elijah asked. "Elena should l be concerned about my mothers contention" Elijah snapped Elena from staring. "She just wanted to apologize, for trying to have me killed" Elena said. LIE. You see no one knows this but l can read minds and tell if someone is telling the truth or not. And Elena is lying to us.
"So its true then, she's forgiven Klaus?" Elijah asked. Nope she didn't. l know exactly what she did and l have to warn the others from drinking the champagne.
"Its true" Elena said. Eh wrong answer Elena.
"Good evening ladies and gentlemen, waiters are coming around with champagne. l invite you all to join me in raising a glass. It provides me with no greater joy, then to see my family" and l zoned out on the rest of the speech. l walked up to Klaus.
"Don't drink it. Trust me" l said and walked away towards Elijah, Kol, and Rebekah. "Don't drink it. She's done something to it" l said.
Ester came down from the stairs after finishing the toast. "Aren't you gonna drink some Amber?" She asked. "Nope. l don't like champagne with dopplegangers blood in it. That was only one time" l said and walked away.
Then l see all the originals drinking champagne. Are they idiots. l walked up to them. "Are you guys idiot's or what" l said. "Sorry love, but mother asked us to" Kol said. "Of course she did. UGH you know what I'm leaving, call me if anything happens or your just bored whatever works" l said and went to my house.
As l was walking out l heard Kol talking to Matt. And then Damon snapping his neck. "Kol!" l said and ran up to him. l looked at Damon and snapped his neck.
"Oops" l said. l carried Kol and ran up to his room. l left him in his bed and was about to leave when Rebekah came in. "Ah you carried him. Maybe you should stay tonight with me" She said. "Another sleepover?" l asked. "Well no cause l am leaving but you are welcomed to stay if you please. But your house is next door so whatever" She said and walked towards her room.
l waited till l heard groaning. "Welcome to the land of none broken necks" l said. "I'm gonna kill him" He said and almost stood up. l appeared in front of him and pushed him in the bed. "No your not. He got what he needed. A good snap of the neck is all" l said and he smirked. "So you snapped his neck?" he asked. l nodded in response. "Well l am going home now. l am coming in the morning to check on Bekah. Bye!" l said and left.
"Wait" he said. l turned around and raised my eyebrows. He stood up and appeared in front of me. He gently pushed me against the wall. His hands around my waist and mine around his neck. "You want to kiss me" he said sounding pleased with himslef.
"What. No l don't" l lied almost studdering but l kept myslef. Truth be told, l really want to kiss him.
"Are you sure?" he said glancing at my lips.
"Yea pretty sure. Why would l-" he cut me off.
"l want to kiss you too" he said.
"You do? Well l don't want-" he cut me off again but with his lips.

Sorry if thats a cliff hanger. They just basically kiss and she leaves. So yes. But they'll talk about that kiss soon.
