6. Heart Of Darkness

l was awoken by the stupid ringing noises of my phone. "Oh my god. Who the hell is calling me at this time? I mumbled. l picked up the phone and looked at the ID caller. Kol.
"Yes Kol?" I asked as nice as possible.
"Would you like to join me in Kansas. Seems as Elena and Damon are trying to find the Mary to find their descended." Kol said.
"Yea sure. I don't like the doppleganger anyway. When?" I asked.
"Today. As soon as possible" He said.
"Ok I'll be there in 2 hours."
"Ok meet me Mary's house. Bye" Kol said and hung up. Mary? Mary? Where does that name sound familiar. Oh thats right. Never mind then. l know her. Actually l hate her and she's better of dead.
l got up took a shower, shaved my legs, and brushed my teeth. l went back to my closet and chose an outfit. I did my make up and went next door to tell Rebekah.
I went inside and her and Klaus were sitting on the couches. "Ok. News" I said. Rebekah looked up and furrowed her brows. "What?" She asked. "Well as you may know Damon is going to Kansas to find Mary and who turned her. And i'm not gonna let that happen because we don't know either. So i'm going there will Kol and kill her." I said. Rebekah smirked and l glared at her.
"Ok. But make sure you don't kill the doppleganger." Klaus said and shrugged. "Ok good. Well bye. I'm leaving be back in like a few days" I said and walked out the door and into my car. I already put some clothes here but i'm probably be back tomorrow. Yea there's no way i'm staying in Kansas and leaving them here with all the fun. Uh uh.
l started my car and started drving to Kansas.
*At Mary's house*
So l texted Kol. He said he was here but he was waiting for me to get there. l got there and got off my car. l didn't exactly park close to her house so Damon doesn't know i'm here. Kol was waiting by the porch.
"Well? Have they gotten here yet?" I asked. "Nope. God their slow" Kol said. "Well lets go in and kill our most hated original groupie" Kol mumbled so Mary wouldn't hear. l laugh.
Kol knocked on the door and Mary appeared. "Wow. Kol and Amber. What a pleasure of seeing you 2 after all this time" Mary said glaring at me. You see l didn't like her and she didn't like me. She was just jealous that l was close to the Mikaelson's.
"Been trying to avoid you for a few hundred years" l said while glaring at her as well. She rolled her eyes. "Please. You've just been jealous that l was close to the original's and you weren't" She said.
"Sweetheart. I don't know i've you've noticed. l am an original too. In fact been an original for 1000 years. And been friends with them for 1000 years. You've barely been alive for 400 years. And you weren't close with us. You were an original groupie. Quiter annoying if you ask me." I said. "Whatever" she mumbled.
I smirked knowing she couldn't answer me considering she didn't have anything to say.
"Come on in then" she said. We walked in. I pinched my nose. "God it stinks in here" I said and looked around. This slut was a psychopath.
"Well we came to talk to you" Kol said. "Well maybe we could do more. If that slut wasn't here" Mary said trying to seduce Kol but me and him both know she is horrible at it.
"I'm the slut. Sweetie you slept with all the Mikaelson boys. Whose the slut now" I said. She glared at me. l smiled innocently.
"Now as l was saying. We came to talk but since that isn't going anywhere with you two arguring. I'll just have to kill you" Kol said and before she could answer he had a stake through her heart pinned againist the wall.
"Finally. That bitch is so annoying" l mumbled. Kol laughed at my comment. Then l heard a car. "Come lets hide" He said and pulled me into a chair. He pulled my into his lap and he wrapped his arms around my waist. l started listening in on the conversation outside.
"Why? So you guys can make out some more?!?!?" Jeremy screamed. Oh so Elena and Damon made out. Oh this is fun. "Don't be a dick. Listen to your sister" Damon said. Jeremy scoffs.
"Come on" He says to Elena. They come in. And l hear something turn on. "Oof, like Vampire Hoarders" Damon said. l stiffled my laugh.
"Who is this Mary person?" Dopplebitch asked. God she's so annoying. "Scary Mary. She's really old, and super creepy" Damon said. l nodded at his comment. Kol shook his head smiling.
"And how to you know her?" Bitch asked. Jealous much. "I dated her" Damon said. l started making silent gagging noises. Kol stiffled a laugh.
"Of course" Elena said. Yup she's totally jealous. "What? I said creepy, not ugly" Damon said. I completely disagree. She was an ugly whore. l shook my head at his comment.
Kol seemed to get bored and knocked something over. They came in the room and Bitch turned on the light. They saw Mary. "Mary" Damon said.
Kol turned on the light and l got off his lap. He also had an iron baseball bat. "Quite contrary" He said and stood up. Damon looked at me in shook and Elena looked like she jsut shit her pants.
"Shame about Mary, she used to be a blast" I scoffed at his comment. "Don't quite know what happened. I fear all the time she spent with my family might have ruined her. She was a bit of an Original groupie" Kol added. "Please. She was a bitch" I added as well.
"And were you her favorite?" Elena asked.
"You mean, did we turn her? I think l did." Kol said. "But maybe it was me" I added confusing them. "But no, wait, maybe it was Rebekah" Kol said.
"There was also a Klaus period" I said. "And let's not forget the Elijah affair" I added.
"I spoke to my brohter, l know you're trying to find out who you descended from. Now you never will. So, where did we leave off?" Kol said and hit Damon with the bat. Damon fell to the ground and Kol kept on hitting him.
"Elena, get out of here" Damon managed to choke out. Elena tried to run for the door but l stopped her and threw her to the bed. "According to Klaus, you're off limits. Do not test me" I said.
Damon rushed to me but l threw him back to Kol. l sat back down in the chair watching Kol beat up Damon with a bat and watching Elena at the same time.
"Don't touch her" Damon said. "Oh dear, I've hit a nerve. Relax darling, l just want to be even. You snapped my neck, but thanks to Amber she snapped yours, you killed my brother, and then you humiliated me" Kol said and hits Damon for about 5-6 times.
"There, now we're even" Kol said and looked at me. l walked to Damon and crouched down to his level. "But you see brother, we are not even. You tried to kill me and my friends. Not to mention you daggered Elijah and Rebekah so..." I said and snapped his neck. "Damon!" Bitch screeched.
l laughed. "I wonder what Stefan would say if he found out you made out with his brother?" I taunted. She glared at me. "Your lucky your the doppleganger, because if you weren't you would've been dead by now" I said.
We walk out of there. "So when are you coming back to Mystic Falls?" I asked Kol. "Soon. Why you miss my charms" He teased and smirked.
"No. Its gets rather boring. But l must go. Can't have your siblings have all the fun" l smirked and he chuckled. "See you soon" Kol said. l nodded and walked to my car.
*At Mystic Falls*
At first l stopped by the Mikaelson Mansion and no one was there so l went to the Salvatore Boarding House.
The last this that l was expecting is for Klaus to be there with Rebekah. l walked in to see Klaus pouring himself a drink as Rebekah drags Alaric out of the basement.
"Thats a little gratuitous, don't you think, Stefan? I would have been more gentle" Klaus said. They were talking about Stefan and Damon locking Alaric in the basement.
"I'm gonna take him to the caves. You're gonna go inside and fetch me the stake and if you think you're gonna hide, you're wrong" Rebekah said to Alaric.
There was something wrong with Rebekah. This isn't her. She doesn't say 'fetch'. l know my best friend and there is something wrong with her. That and when she was walking out the door she glared at me. Oh god this isn't good. l know exactly what's wrong with Bekah. That isn't Bekah. Thats Ester. l glared back. She looked suprised cause l already knew it was Ester.
"And then there was one. l know about you brother's little mission to Denver. He failed. Not that that's news anymore. Thank you Kol and Amber" Klaus said.
"No problem Nik" I said and walked in to the room."So what are you gonna do now Klaus? You gonna kill me?" Stefan asked. "I haven't actually decided yet" Klaus said and sits down in the couch.
"Aww, sure you have. See you've had every chance and every excuse imaginable to do it, but yet you haven't. Which means you don't want to" Stefan said.
"Actually l was waiting on Amber's approval. But maybe you're right. You see, I'm still waiting for my old friend to come back. By the looks of it, he's just beneath the surface. Waiting to come out and play. Isn't that right, Ripper? You just need something to push is" Klaus said.
"Well l think l have something. You heard that Elena made out with Damon" I asked Klaus.
Stefan says something about fighting for himself, that it can't control him, and something about getting out of his house. We leave.
"Klaus l have to warn you. Rebekah isn't Rebekah. She's Ester. Trust me when l say this she isn't gonna stop until your dead. But don't worry l won't let that happen" I said. "Yea l figured there was something wrong with Rebekah. l thought it was about you leaving but l guess not" Klaus said.
"Kol said he was coming to town soon" l said. "How do you know?" He asked. "He told me when l went to Kansas where Mary lives" l explained. "You know, there's something weird between you and Kol. You are way to much alike" Klaus said and l laughed. "Well imma go to my house and to bed. Bye" I said and hugged Klaus and flashed to my house. l didn't worry about my car cause l left it in my house before l went to the Salvatore House.
