Karasuma came to visit Nagisa the next day
"Karasuma?" Nagisa looked at him in shock
"What is it?"
Nagsia shook his head
"No, I just wasn't expecting to see you again."
"Don't worry it won't take too long"
"What is it?" Nagisa asked curiously
"I was wondering what you were planning to do when you're released?"
"What I'm going to do?" He repeated softly
"Yeah. You could work under me if you still want to be an assassin. Or you could remain as CEO"
Nagisa looked down
".... Assassin.... CEO?"
"It's whatever you decide. So don't worry"
Nagisa then looked up and looked him in the eye
"Could I have more time and think this over"
"Of course. When you make up your mind you know where to find me."
Karasuma smiled and walked out
"He's still deciding"
".... you know I really don't want him to continue being an assassin, because if he does that means something like this will occur again, and I don't think I could bare seeing him in that state again."
Karma said while leaning against the wall
"I just wonder, what would you do if he does end up working for me? Would you still be with him or will you leave him?" Karasuma asked
"Of course I will support him, I just don't want to ever see him get hurt again."
"It's a shame he's not considering being a teacher" Karasuma added
"I don't think he has the confidence to face a bunch of students without remembering that he once killed many innocent people. He might be afaid he will kill them too." Karma said
"I see.... well... I'll see you later" Karasuma began to walk away
Karma was left alone in the hallway and stood there for a few seconds before entering Nagisa's room
Nagisa pov
I couldn't get my mind off what Karasuma asked me
An assassin... but I don't want to abandon being the CEO of Shigeru Hotel and Restaurant...
But if I continue, I'll have to live the rest of my life as Hiroshi
.....
I looked at the palm of my hand
After a while I heard the door open
"How are you doing?" Karma asked
I didn't look up
"What's wrong?"
He grabbed my hand and I looked into his eyes
"If I become CEO, Shiota Nagisa will disappear..."
"....Is that the only thing you're afraid of? Losing your identity"
"..."
"Then what about Karasuma's offer?"
"I'm terrified. What if I revert to my old self and start killing randomly"
"You won't"
"How do you know?"
"Because you have me now and I will respect whatever you choose"
I smiled at Karma
"Thank you"
"Do you have your answer?"
"Yeah.... I'll continue doing what I've been doing"
"? You're choosing both?"
I smiled
"Yeah"
"..."
Karma was silent
"Karma?"
All of a sudden I was pulled in an embrace
"Karma!"
"I love you"
I smiled and hugged him back
"Me too"
