Bucky ran through the rain while holding a shivering Steve, "Hang on Steve! We're almost home!" Bucky quickly opened the door to their apartment and set Steve on their bed. Steve was soaking wet and shivering badly "B-Buck..." He moaned and Bucky felt his forehead and felt his heart beat faster 'Shit.. he has a fever..' and for when it came to Steve that was never good.

Bucky changed Steve into more dry and comfortable clothes then covered him with all the blankets they owned "Bucky..." Steve moaned again and Bucky rested his hand on his forehead "Shh. I'm here baby doll, I'm here" He soothed Steve and Steve just kept saying his name feverishly until he drifted off to sleep. Bucky pulled up a chair and sat down in it next to Steve, holding his hand.
