Stagnancy

Sometimes what breaks us isn't that they've moved on.

Isn't that the person they've moved on with is better than us.

What breaks us is the mere fact that they've moved on, while we're stuck drowning in the memories left behind.

The most painful part is that sometimes we're so hurt, that we make memories that never existed.

And the ones that did, we sugar coat them into fairytale so that we can't move on.

When we're hurt, we're most vulnerable.

We're open to any affection because we crave wanting to know that something in us is worth loving.
