Prologue

"SINABI ko ng ayoko sakanya! Hindi na ako magpapakasal kay Seria!"

"Lucas! Ano bang sinasabi mo? Anong hindi na at ayaw mo na? Hindi ba't ikaw ang nagpakilala kay Seria? Kung kaya't bakit ayaw mo na? Bukas na iho ang kasal, maatim mo bang umiyak ang babaeng minamahal mo?"

"Mahal? How come? I never said that I have feelings for Seria, and besides, diba ayaw nyo din naman sakanya?"

"That's not the case Lucas Marciano Cuento! You are a Marciano-Cuento, a family that has one word, and we keep that word until our last breath."

Napangiti ng nakakaloko si Lucas. "Stop that trick dad, hindi ka naman ganon, you said that you leave mommy back then, when she said that she don't love you and she doesn't have feelings for you, pero anong ginawa mo, you rape my mom and then drag her to a wedding, then the end."

"We are different lucas anak, I love your daddy now and we are a happy family, that is why you need to listen to us, marry Seria okay?"

Tumayo si Lucas sa kinatatayuan. "No." He plainly said at akmang aalis na sa kwarto ng pigilan sya ng dad nya.

They are having a heart to heart talk after lucas announce that the wedding is canceled and will never happen. "What is the change in mind? Would you explain it?"

"I want thay green eyed girl that I see in my engagement party, I want to marry her and the rest will be history, I want berde."

"Berde?"

"Yes, and that is the next queen of this household."

"Lara, why not stay in your mother's house instead dito ka pumunta sa province namin?"

"Alice alam mo naman na rebelde ako diba?"

"OmyG! NPA who? Duhh don't me nga! I know that you are a good daughter, pinalayas ka lang kamo ng tita heidi mo! Tss kung ako sayo fly to U.S and stay there with your mom, mag aral ka don, mag asawa or what ever!"

Naparolyo ng mata si Lara, narito sya sa Poblacion La Cuento, sa bahay ng kaklase nya noong college na si Alice, narito sya dahil pinalayas sya ng step mom nya sa bahay nila sa maynila. "O di kaya naman akitin mo nalang si Lucas! Kyaaaaaah!"

Napalo naman ni Lara si Alice. "Tumigil ka nga dyan! Sinong Lucas naman yan?"

"Aysows ateng! Si Lucas yung lalaking nakita natin sa party sa bayan, yung ikakasal na."

"And?"

"As I was saying, ikakasal pa lang naman, eh diba nagkaroon kayo ng eye contact non? O diba baka inlab na sayo yun!"

"Baliw! Tumigil ka na, binibigyan mo pa ng malisya yon e ikakasal na yung tao."

"Hay nako Lara Natividad! I don't know what to do to you!"

"Baliw."
