Six months later, after the events of Jace beating Project X, Blackout, and Adrenaline Rush, the abandoned facility was visited by someone outside of the Wolfpack. The six individuals that had been locked into this facility were all gathered to a room, their arms all cuffed as they were led. They had several men aiming at their heads as they were sat down.
Project X looked around as he leaned back, not feeling very comfortable being in such a small space with guns to his head. Acid analyzed the situation and found it best not to try anything at the moment. Adrenaline Rush tapped his foot as he waited for whatever was going to happen, most likely an execution he thought. Blackout crossed his arms yawned, clearly bored of this. Titan cleared his throat, and looked around.
"So... How's everyone's day been?" Titan asked, seeing nothing better to do than to ask questions. The only reaction he got was a glare from Alpha Blood, who was clearly on edge at this.
"Gentlemen," A voice called to them as a military looking man walked into the room. "It's come to my attention that you've all been beaten by some remarkable people." The man sat in front of them all. "Well, two things can happen tonight." The man pulled out a pistol and shot two of his men to the floor, several guards shooting their comrades down. "You either stay here and take the blame, probably never see sunlight again, or you can take my offer of freedom."
"What's the catch?" Project X asked as he looked at the man.
"No catch... You get to walk as free men wherever you want to go. All you have to do is kill the Wolfpack," The man told them and they all leaned forward, clearly listening now.
"All we gotta do is kill the guys who put us in here?" Titan asked and he laughed. "Sign me the hell up. I've been itching to get back at that self righteous Ghost."
"Oh Hell yeah," Alpha Blood chimed in. "I'm down to kill that Birdkid and humiliate him in front of his so called teammates and friends."
"So who are you anyways?" Blackout asked the man as he looked at him. "We're all for the offer, but I'd like to know who we're working for."
"I'm no one special, just a pawn of someone else," The man replied. "All you need to know is that this offer is given to you by someone who hates the Wolfpack more than all of you." The man got up and pulled off the cuffs from every single one of them. "So go nuts. Kill them in any way you see fit," He told them before the man and his guards all pulled out spare pistols. "Just remember this is a gift. Don't ruin it." The six villains looked at them, but watched wide eyed as every single guard just blew their brains out with their guns.
"Well!" Titan shouted after a moment of silence. "That was interesting to watch." The villains all looked around, seeing that they were uncuffed and left alone. They each smirked and looked at each other and embrace their newfound freedom.
"Since we're probably gonna be working together, maybe someone should lead this ragtag team of ours," Project X proposed before nominating himself as leader. Before he could say a word, he was shocked by Blackout. Everyone turned to look at him.
"You're correct on that, Project X," Blackout said as he cracked his neck. "We do need a leader. But it certainly won't be you. I only let you lead me and Adrenaline Rush to see how you would do in the leadership role, and you failed miserably. Our enemy got away and humiliated all of us in the process. So, you won't be leader, especially not for me. If you want to actually win, and you want to make our enemies suffer, then make me your leader. I've studied the Wolfpack as they came in here, and I've studied you all. I know the best ways for us to attack, so make me your leader if you want to kill the Wolfpack." After a few murmurs and laughs, everyone nodded and raised their fists. "Death to the Wolfpack," Blackout said with a smirk on his face as he led the villains out of the facility.
