Chapter 16

I just had a meeting with other associates. Which gives me time to spend with Alexis.

Alexis is the quiet one out of the twins and Adrian is more out spoken one, she always follow his lead.

"So what do you want to do today?" I asked her when I entered my office

"Um... I don't know?" she said listening to music on my phone which gave me an idea.

"What about we go to a Broadway show?" I asked which got her attention "yeah we can watch the Lion King Broadway show they're gonna be performing here tomorrow"

"OK, I love the lion king" she smiled

"Great, I have to go and see if there's nothing I have plan tommorow with Priscilla" I said and left the office

"Priscilla I have nothing plan for tomorrow right?" I asked her in her office

"No you have some business to take care of in the factory remember" she said giving me a confused expression

"Ugh I just promised Alexis that we'll go to the Lion King Musical tomorrow" I pinched the bridge of my nose

"Well you can ask someone to take her" Priscilla suggested

"No, I wanted to have mommy and daughter time with Alexis... What time do we get to LA to Maine?" I asked while a plan was forming in my head

"By plane we could get the 1:00am plane and get to Maine by, well Wensday and get back here by and back by Thursday. Why?"

"The show starts tommorow at 7pm" I frowned

I sadly went back to my office to break the news to Alexis

"Mommy should we bring popcorn to the show" she asked as I entered

"Sorry Alexis but I forgot that I have to visit a factory in Maine"

"But when will you come back?" She tears up

"Friday... I'm so sorry Alexis" I was about to hug her but she stops me

"Wait what about uncle Kyle" she starts to lighten up "he can take me to the show

"I- I don't know but I'll call him" I said feeling a little butthurt but at least she's happy

"So when the shows over you take her straight home no detours" I said to Kyle

"Ok you said that three times don't worry Lexi and I will have fun at the show" he grins as I went in the car and left.

Kyle Pov

I took the kids to school and headed straight to work.

"Kyle you have a message" Matt said as I walked in the building.

"I can't focus on that right now, I have to finish these plans for a new store" I cut him off.

'This is the first time I've seen you come in late a while, was it another girl?" He asked.

"No apparently it's hard to get kids ready in the morning than it seems" I sighed "Did Mr. Nelson paid his debt to us by any chance?"

"No, what are you planning?..."

"Start setting up a meeting tomorrow" I said and went through sone documents.

After I finished I went to go pick up the twins.

"Hello I'm here to pick up Adrian and Alexis" I said to the teacher.

"What? but a driver said you sent him to pick them up" she said nervously.

Then the realization hit me, they've been kidnapped and I'm so in trouble if Heather finds out.
