Chapter 23

Kyle POV

I woke up to the sound of my and checked the time.

5:58 am

I went to the bathroom and washed my hair and took a shower. I dried my hair while shaving my beard a little. I walked over and picked out what to wear. I put on my suit pants and shirt and shoes.

I headed downstairs to the kitchen where my maid was making breakfast.

"Sorry I'm skipping breakfast today" I took the cup of coffee and headed out to my car.

"Matt are you in the office yet?" I called him in my car

"What are you talking about? It's summer I told you I'm on vacation with my family and for you to stay out of trouble yesterday" he said as he jogs my memory

"Right, sorry have a nice vacation" I hung up on him and got out of my car and headed back home

I called Sarah to come over and visit along with Ryan as I pack my bags.

I heard the door open downstairs and looked over the balcony to see Sarah, Ryan and his wife, Jasmine.

"You made it" I said as I walked downstairs with my bags "I called you here to see if you want to go on a family vacation"

"Really? Where's your kids?" Sarah asked while leaning on the wall

"In Italy with their Mom, why?" I crossed my arms

"Oh no reason just thought they were coming to this family vacation too"

"So where are you taking us Kyle?" Ryan sighs

"Puerto Rico to visit Dad since he missed your wedding and then to New Zealand to visit Mom since she also missed your wedding and finally to China" I smiled

"Wow I finally get to meet your parents face to face" Jasmine excitingly told Ryan

"Kyle you know Dad never liked you right?" Sarah asked

"I'm aware of that which is why I'm going to calm and nice to him since he's old" I said as I walked over to her

"We'll go home and start packing" Ryan said and walked out with Jasmine

"Why the sudden vacation?" Sarah turned to me

"Because I want to spend time with my little sister and big brother" I answered in a teasing tone but Sarah wasn't buying it

"Or your just lonely and needed our company because your not with your kids" she gives me a look "am I right?"

"Your not far from the truth" I looked away

"Kyle I hope you know what your trying to do with your life" she sighs and walks out the front door

The next day everyone was in my plane to Puerto Rico.

"I win!" I yelled and placed down my last card

"Ok then let's play connect 4" Sarah pulls out the game

I sighed "ok fine but-"

"Sir sorry to interrupt but we've  arrived" the flight attendant said

"Oh would you look at that I guess your going to be a loser now" I taunt her as we walked out of the plane

We took our bags and put them in a taxi and headed to our hotel.

"Yes Dad we're in our hotel now, yup so we'll meet you tomorrow bye" Ryan hangs up on dad before I handed him his room key and him and Jasmine walk away.

"Where's my room key?" Sarah asked

"We are in the same suite, I don't trust you alone" I said and unlock the door as she groans.
