Chapter 9 ● Scary Men, Little Miss

Tiffany lingers in front of the double door. 'Teacher's Office' is written on the wooden board hanging beside the door. She need to fulfill her promise.

School has been uneventful today. She doesn't know if Yuri and Baekhyun know about yesterday because they were very normal, but they would never talk about gang problems.

Not even when she got involved.

Tiffany knocks softly on the teacher's office door and open the door. Smiling at the teachers along the way, she finally arrive at a table, on which an old woman with a crooked glasses is busy typing on her computer.

"State your name and your occasion" the old woman speaks without even looking at her. Her fingers don't stop furiously smashing the poor keyboard.

Tiffany smiles at her, eventhough she doesn't see "Tiffany Hwang, council affairs"

The old woman finally look at her. A smile blooms at her mouth, "Miss Hwang, how have you been?"

"Very good Miss Yoo, is the president presence?"

Miss Yoo nods her head and points to the door, allowing her to walk through. With a small "thank you" Tiffany steps toward another double door.

An hour later she goes out the same door with a satisfied smile on her face. The president loves visitors, she tend to speak a lot to the visitors she like, and if you are persuasive, she might grant whatever is it you want.

And Tiffany just achieve that.

With a happy goodbye to Miss Yoo and other teachers, Tiffany almost skip out of the office, but manage to walk normally.

She is going to walk back to the cafeteria. She left Taeyeon on the cafeteria before she went to the teacher's office.

"Tiff" a husky sound calls her and Tiffany turns around to see Siwon with a friend comes toward her. Its Lee Donghae, if she is not mistaken. He is a senior council member, but often bail on meeting and events.

Tiffany smiles as she wait for them walk towards her.

"Hi Oppa, sorry I didn't come yesterday, I've got a bad stomachache" she grins in apology and then smiles at the tall, milky white skinned guy, "Donghae Oppa, long time no see"

Donghae gives her a friendly waves.

"You are alright now?" Siwon asks again, a look of concern on her face. Tiffany nods "Never better, just a case of eating a wrong food"

Tiffany swears Siwon doesn't look like he believe her and Donghae is looking at her skeptically.

"Sure" Donghae sarcastically answers, but with a very bright smile that Tiffany isn't sure if his sarcasm is only in her mind, or real.

Yet Siwon nudges his side.

"Uh, anyway, I need to go see Taeyeon, she's alone" Tiffany says in a rush. Siwon and Donghae's piercing stares feel like they can look at her soul. She can't take it.

Without waiting for an answer she turns around and go to the direction of the cafeteria.

Screw manner, she could be dead by their stares.

Tiffany arrives at the cafeteria after a very quick speed walking that she almost looks like she is running. She stops suddenly when she look at the table where she left Taeyeon.

Taeyeon isn't alone anymore, Jiyoung is sitting beside her. They are having a conversation.

Having a feeling he is being stared at, Jiyoung's eyes meet Tiffany. With a quick kiss to Taeyeon's pink lips, Jiyoung stands and go to his own table.
