I got in my car, and pulled out of the drive way.
"Siri, call Anne." The phone began to call her.
"Hello?" She answered.
"I'm not coming." I told her sternly.
"But, why?" Anne seemed angry.
"We are co-workers. I don't want to see you outside of work, understood?" I turned into Kay Jewelers, seeing JC in his car waiting for me.
"Kian, you will regret this..." she threatened.
"I don't think I will, goodbye Anne." I hung up and exited the car.
"Sup man." JC hugged me.
"What are you getting Anna?" I asked.
"A necklace, with my name on it." JC smirked, puffing out his shirt.
I laughed, "She is gonna love it man."
"What about you?" We walked inside.
"I'm getting her a ring." I flat out told him. JC looked at me,
"You mean..."
"No, a promise ring." I reassured him.
JC held his heart, "I was about to say!"
I made my way to a case of rings, I scanned them. My eyes found one hiding in the back,
"That one..." I told the employee, pointing to it.
"You bet sir."

"See you back at the house okay?" JC patted my back.
"Sounds good." I waved and sat in my car.
I pulled out onto the highway and immediately got stuck in traffic.
"God damn it, JC is going to beat me." I shook my head.
