Mute

Chapter 1

Twilight and Rarity decided to stay at Applejack and Rainbowdash's dorm room, for reasons that it was a Friday night and Twilight wanted to fangirl with someone, at least for once.

Rainbow on the other hand was typing on her phone, eyebrows furrowed, and constantly looking over at Applejack every once in a while.

'Oh my gosh! Did you see that?!" Twilight signed, rewinding the video she and Applejack was watching.

'Holy cow! Lams is happening people!' Applejack signed back.

Twilight began to squeal as Applejack jumped up and down, 'till a girl bursted the door open. "ARE YOU GUYS HAVING FUN WITHOUT ME?!" A pink haired girl shouted at her friends.

"Oh, hi Pinkie." Twilight waved. "Technically only me and the new girl Applejack."

"Oh, right she likes Hamilton too." Pinkie said, walking in. "Then what are these guys doing?" The girl called Pinkie pointed at Rainbow and Rarity.

"Getting annoyed at me and Applejack." Twilight said, earning a little giggle from Applejack.

The two continued to watch Hamilton act 1, even if they watched it 40 times already in less than 1 week.

Pinkie sat beside Dash on the bed. "Hey, do you think that the new girl is quite interesting?" She said. Dash shook her head and continued typing.

Time Skip

When Rainbow slept, Pinkie grabbed her phone and started to scroll, trying to find whatever Dash was typing about. She found it in the memos.

Friday,
   Today Applejack has been quite open to all of us, especially to Twilight. She has met everyone by now, you know Pinkie, Sunset, Starlight, Juniper and everyone else.

   It's just so random that I sometimes look at the internet and look at my history, seeing a search that says 'how to learn ASL'

   I don't know... I just want to understand her. I always get curious what Twilight and Applejack are always talking about. This past Wednesday, they were using ASL and Applejack just started crying on Twilight's shoulder. If I could only understand what they were talking about, I might be able to help.

   Pinkie asked me if I think Applejack is interesting, I shook my head no but, that was lie. She is interesting. At first, I thought having the mute girl as my roommate was gonna be annoying, but turns out it was quite amazing.

    She types out some French, or maybe even Spanish sometimes, on Google Translate and show it to me. She's been helping me with Spanish too, and it helped alot.

    I just want to know what caused her to go mute. Is she traumatized or just plain disabled. No, she giggles and we hear a very tincy tiny bit of her voice.

    I refuse to believe that she's disabled. I am going to find out, I'll continue this ASL study that I started. I don't care how long it takes, I need to know what she is!

Pinkie gasped and looked at her spectrum friend, snorring. Pinkie hasn't told anyone, but she knew how to do ASL. Reason was because she needed to understand her baby sister, Marble Pie, who wasn't mute, but refused to talk much.

She grabbed Rainbow's wrist, even though she was asleep, pulled her and dragged her in the bathroom. "Dash I can teach you ASL." Pinkie announced.

"So?" Rainbow replied.
