"Ohhhh, maternity leave? Coulda just said. Yeah, I've applied for it and I'll be getting it in a couple months' time."
"No. I mean, quit the job permanently."
"Rohannnnn. Why would I do that?"
"Look, after the baby's born, you'll get one year maternity. Max. You need to adapt your schedule so that you can look after him properly. He needs his mama. And you can't be at school teaching other peoples' kids with your own child in childcare. That's not right. He needs you."
"For the baby- yes. Okay, I'll quit."
"You mean: For the baby boy."
"Yes, yes, for the baby boy," resignedly, she sighs.
