I am started to get really worried about Grace. She hasn’t been home in two weeks. Scott and I called the cops to report a missing person and kidnapping. I haven’t been getting that much sleep but when I do always wake up from a nightmare, sweating and hiding in a corner. It’s the same with Scott but he wakes up screaming, which scares me every time.

“Scott, I’m sorry. It’s my fault. I wish he took me instead of Grace. She doesn’t deserve this. Why is she with Aaron even though he hurts her repeatedly?” I yelled.

“Nat stop saying it’s your fault cause it’s not. I don’t know why but I think she is too in love to care.”

“That was so reassuring Scott.” I said sarcastically.

After a while we sat down and stated to watch an old movie, The Titanic. I was dozing off when I heard the door swing open as lightning shown through the clouds.

I “jumped” into Scott’s arms and hid my face in his chest.

“Scott?” a raspy voice called.

“Yes?” he answered.

“Help me. Everything hurts.” The voice called. The voice sounded familiar; really familiar like Grace. Wait, it is Grace!
