Missed calls

          " maybe we just missed the timing"

                I picked up my phone hovering my finger over the call button. I don't know if it was right to call him but I felt like I had to. For my own sanity.

I pressed it, bringing the phone to my ear the ringing sound echoing. One ring after another and still no answer.

      " the number you are trying to reach is currently unavailable"

I took the phone from my ear, closing my eyes. I knew he wouldn't answer but apart of me hoped he would.

         " please leave a message after the tone"

I opened my eyes quickly putting my phone to my ear. The beep rang through the phone and my heart began to race.

" h-hey it's me, R-Rose. I'm calling to see why you haven't been responding to my messages. You seemed to disappeared out of nowhere. If you hear this please call me back. I'll be waiting."

Shakily taking my phone from my ear I ended the call. My head was spinning, a thousand thoughts ran around my mind. Sighing I laid back onto my bed.
I guess it's just a waiting game now
