Flicker of Hope

Darkness shrouds everything and all hope seems to be missing.
A repeated series of unfortunate events occur and there seems to be no escape.
The darkness seems to mock and taunt as life begins to crumble around.
Then suddenly, a small light begins to flicker on.
Hope begins to find it's way into the bleak world.
There will always be a flicker of hope, even in the darkest of times.
And if given the chance, it can turn into a bright light.
