"You have your brains in your head. You have your feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. And you know what you know. You're the guy who'll decide where to go."

-Dr. Seuss

"Who do you think you are?"

"What do I look like to you?"

I don't know what answer people expect when they ask, "Who do you think you are?"

I would tell you, but you already know.

I'm a person, made from clay, formed with arms and legs

I am a body, soul and spirit, all three clothed with a suit of meat and bone

Made with ability to reason; free will it's called, I'm not controlled, I'm not a drone

I was created with the utmost care; carved and formed I was given a name to top off the flare

I was given what most don't have; it's a privilege you know, for "You can't always get what you want."

Life was breathed into me from the very start, that single action caused my beating heart

Joy was ever present when I was conceived; I brought happiness to the people of whom I had never perceived

Billions of cells works within me, to keep up the image you perceive me to be

Rivers of blood course through me, and when I'm cut open?

I can't help but bleed.

There is only One, Who has the right to claim the title of my Maker,

His name is Jehovah, the all-Powerful Creator

Three in One I'm just like him, after all, I am made in his image, from outer layer to inner rim

So next time you ask me, "Who do I think I am?"

I'll answer, "I'm human, my identity is mine to display, not yours to scar."
