The next day evie checked the mail box desperate for the smallest note from any of her friends but it was all empty.
D:EVIE WHERE'S MY BREAKFAST
Evie returned defeated and finished making breakfast
Evie felt a tear roll down her cheek and quickly wiped it away like if it was nothing.
Doug's POV
Doug woke up early and checked through the mail and seen evie sending a letter to jay and a letter from Jay to evie and hid them in his study room along with the other letters from mal, carlos,ben,jay,jane,and evie.Then he crept to the table and demanded his breakfast.
Jay's POV
Jay checked his mail box for anything from evie and came back empty handed.

Jay had returned to his room
Did that really just happen I've had a crush on evie since the isle,i need to let her know.
The next day
Jay walked up to evie and listened in on her and doug's conversation
E:of course I'll go on a date with you!
Jay walked away depressed.
A few days after Devie's date New years day

Evie glances at audrey kissing jay
D:ARE YOU BREAKING UP WITH ME
E:(giggles)no silly we should make it official
Jay's POV
Audrey leaned in to kiss me and i was going to tell her that i liked evie but i heard
E:Make it official
Then jay lost control and said

Evie felt her heart break into a million pieces
D:E-evie are you crying
Evie didn't realize it so she tried to cover it up as best as she could
E:im just so happy.
While doug wasn't home she wanted to use his computer to find out the wifi password because doug changed it not allowing evie to send anyone texts
While she searched for the wifi password she found a hidden compartment containing letters
Evie looked at the letters closely and realized they were all addressed to her.

Evie blushed a little at how jay included the word love.Then it hit her,Doug had been isolating her from her friends so she wouldn't leave him
She found the wifi password and texted Jay
E:Jay hurry i need you to come get me

Jay suited up and grabbed enough money for a plane ticket to evie's house.Since he traveled a lot he got a discount on plane tickets.
On the way jay had dreams of evie and him.

E:sylvia i don't own you,you can call me Evie
Maid:Evie,Theres a handsome young man at the door.
Evie hurried to the door
Evie jumped into jay's arms and remembered all her feelings for him.
E:we gotta go
Jay searched his pockets for his wallet
J:shoot i must have forgot my wallet at home
Evie opened a garage and pulled out in a car.

Evie filled jay in on what she discovered and brought up him not including her in anything
J:well eves you never talked to us so i just assumed you didn't wanna be friends.

Jay pulls into a rest stop and noticed evie crying.
They enter a hotel lobby jay holding onto evie

Evie crumples the paper and cries in jay's shoulder

The girl hands them a key and they walk into their room
Jay noticed there was only one bed
J:im going to the grocery store want anything
Evie gives jay a list and he leaves for a while and returns
Evie snatches the ice cream container and eats it with a spoon and watches "two broke girls" and starts sobbing
J:evie whats wrong

Jay had decided to walk onto the balcony to see the view.
When He walked in he seen evie attempt to drink alcohol and slapped it out of her hand making the bottle roll under the bed
Jay grabs evie:EVIE NO
Evie lets go and looks again.
Jay grabs evie more firmly:Evie i l-care to much to see you get hurt.
Evie didn't let go instead she sobbed into jay's shoulder until they layed next to eachother keeping eachother in their arms
Both's POV
Evie wanted to see the beach near the hotel but it was crowded and they had a long road a head.
Jay woke up to evie walking out and followed her.
Evie seen the large body of water and looked at her wedding ring
Evie took it off and threw it into the water and slumped onto the floor.
Jay seen this happen and sat next to evie side hugging her as she looked down with tears in her eyes.
Evie rested her head on jay's shoulder as they watched the sunrise.
