Evie barged into jay's hospital room.
Evie rushed to jay's side
E:(sobs)please please please be ok.
A nurse tried to pull her away
E:NO GET OFF ME.
Evie buried her head in jay's arm.
Jay carresed her hair.
J:ya know E you have to be quiet at the hospital, but I love you for caring about me.
Jay pulls Evie by the chin for a kiss.
E:mm
Evie could feel jay's warm hands and his warm forehead.
Doc:it appears its nothing serious he just has to rest a little .
A strange man had been in that room the whole time.
?:you must be evie?right?
E:yes
?:come with me let's let Jay rest.
Evie follows the man to the waiting room.
E:what do you want with me
?:Oh I'm not going to hurt you Evie.
E:how do you know my name...
?:well I mean you are jay's mistress.
Evie's eyes widen.
?:and I kinda am jay's boss so...
E:oh,well you should know what happend.
Boss:yeah a group of guys decided it was bright to take down one person.
RW:and we are here at the hospital,where tourney star Jay Cobra is resting.
E:I'd better get out of here before anyone becomes suspicious
Boss:good idea.
Evie sneaks out and heads to jay's house where all their friends are waiting.
Jn:how is he
M:is he ok
C:is it serious
B:will he have to retire
E:he's fine and its not serious,he just has to rest a few days
Jn:oh no,a team isn't anything without the captain.
E:it's fine he should be fine by this week.
A few hours later...
Jay returned home and layed in his bed.
E:jay I'm going to go grocery shopping want anything.
J:nah I'm fine.
Evie went but on the way she seen a restaurant was hiring for waiters/waitresses.
E:I should do it,after all I can't be mooching off Jay forever.
Evie filled out the application.
At the grocery store..
Evie grabbed the usual things she needed.
*Phone rings*
E:hello?
?:hi is this Evelyn queen?
E:this is her
?:you've got the job
E:what about my-
?:so you start tomorrow
E:yes sir or mam
The person hangs up.
Evie felt excited that she had her first job other than making dresses.
At home.
E:JAY IM HOME
J: FINALLY
Evie walks to his room.
E:jay...
J:yes...
E:I got a job.
Jay looked happy for evie.
J:great.
Evie went to her room and went to sleep.
