The next few weeks past, D-rank missions being completed time after time. I was certain that I had become a worse ninja by doing all of them, babysitting is not a ninjas role. None of the team seem thrilled by our 'exciting' missions especially when Naruto spent the whole time arguing with Sasuke.

Talking of the Uchiha, he hadn't visited at all. It didn't bother me, in fact I appreciated my time spent alone when I was constantly surrounded by my team. Although Kakashi did visit me twice to make sure I was okay, even gave me a few tips on my new water jutsu I was trying to perfect.

Currently it was mid morning and we had just received a rather aggressive cat. I made sure not to touch it, actually I didn't get within six feet of the damn thing. It was evil and had proven it by attacking Naruto. However the lady hugging Tora close to her chest didn't see the truth. Cats were not nice.

I was too focused on the cat to be paying attention to the Hokage and it wasn't until our client had left that I even noticed he was talking. Suddenly Naruto slammed his palm down on the table a ranted about how he wasn't a little kid anymore. Well he successfully pulled me out of my trance.

Unfortunately the Hokage went rambling on about how we were only Genin (well most of us) and we needed to follow the correct order. Honestly I'd never been so board in my life.

"Excuse me Gra- Hokage." I interrupted him. He gave me a small bit of permission to continue.

"Will all due respect a Genin team should be allowed to do C-rank missions as long as a Jonin is present. Can't we're do one of those instead?" In my opinion C-ranks weren't all that exciting however anything was better that finding lost cats.

The old man seem to take my words into consideration before shuffling through his sheets. He paused on a slightly crumple scroll before considering some more. All of us waited in anticipation for the leaders decision.

"Fine I'll allow you to do an escort mission. Send them in." Naruto's big blue eyes brightened in excitement as he bounced around the room.

"Is it a princess? Or maybe a lord!" His rather far-fetched guesses where cut of when an old drunk walked in. His eyes scanned over the team and seemed to despair more and more after seeing each of us.

"Do you expect me to believe that you're ninja?" His question struck a cord with me. I was an excellent ninja, not the best I knew that probably quite average for a Chunin but never the less I was a ninja.

"Look at that shirt one with the idiotic look on their face." I looked around to see the other lining up to compare heights and slotted myself in between Naruto and Sakura. Much to my pleasure I wasn't the smallest on the team however Naruto didn't seem to enjoy the title.

"Why you!" Kakashi caught the back of the blonds collar before he could attack our client.

"Naruto we're supposed to protect the client not kill them." With a pat on Naruto's head Kakashi moved away to stand next to me.

"And you're so frail, you probably couldn't hit a tree even if you were in a forest!" His chubby finger pointed at me. Me. This man had no respect at all.

I bite my tongue and didn't reply knowing that I had to maintain my role as a ninja. I must not show emotions. But I think the Hokage could see my fists clenching and unclenching out of anger.

"I am Tazuna the master bridge builder you must bring me back home and protect me with your life." This guy couldn't be all that. It was only a C-rank mission so we wouldn't have a whole lot to worry about.

The Hokage dismissed up but I remained to ask a few questions. The team seem confused at my lack of moving out the office but I waved them off. How annoying.
