"Come ON, Diana! You don't want to be late, do you?'' Mary Ann shouted to her best friend, Diana Delilah, as she impatiently waited by her friend's front door. The two friends were going to the Mystery Howl Fun Night and Play together, and Diana was the play's main character, the Mystery Howler, while Mary Ann is just part of the audience.

"Of course I don't want to be l-" Diana started to call down to her friend, but couldn't finish, as she had gone faint. Down stairs, Mary Ann had noticed that Diana stopped talking in the the middle of her sentence, which she never does, and heard a faint gasp, a thud, and then, silence.

"Diana? Diana, are you there? Diana, can you hear me? Diana! Please! Answer me, Diana!" Silence, then, she heard a sort of a slithering and hissing sound. She made out a few words, and they rolled around and around in her head as she tried to figure them out, and who said them, and why they said those words. The words were said precisely like this:

Your little friend cannot hear you as you call for her. You will never find her in her room. I will give you a little riddle, and here it is:

If you are stumped of where to start,

Look where there might be a mystery

About to occur,

If not there,

You might have luck,

In the learning room,

The wall be covered
