We first start off in the scene of Hoseok and Yoongi texting each other. Yoongi was one of the first original characters of outcast that escaped the original game but lost all his memories after escaping, therefore he forgot his friend Kim Taehyung.
He then made a new, Jung Hoseok which is who we are introduced to at the first chapter, he sees this game, Outcast, which has five stars and wanted to play it with Hoseok but Hoseok had "errands".
Playing the game, he realised this was all a mistake and tried to warn Hoseok to uninstall but it was too late. He plays the character Park Jimin, then Kim Namjoon and later on Jeon Jungkook, and Jung Hoseok. Which from time to time, these characters send him messages or advice.
It all came down to him meeting the creator, his characters were hurt and he only had a life left. If he gave his life he would end up losing but if he didn't his characters would die. The creator, expected him to be selfish and keep his life but in his surprise Yoongi chose to give his life which triggered and ruined Taehyungs plan.
At first Yoongi lied, about saying he remembered Kim Taehyung, but a the command "Kim Taehyung wants Kim Seokjin.." appeared in his screen. He remembered, with the help of him playing the game 5 nights in a row.
He apologised to Taehyung but we rarely what happens next due to his phone dying. We know what happens next so I'm not explaining that. He then is forgiven by Taehyung and they set off to create a new game together. About a boy wanting revenge, Taehyung wanted the revenge most but Yoongi joined him wanting revenge on The others as well, for not returning for him, to rescue him. What he didn't know is that the characters all lost their memories (except for Jin)
So basically the loop still goes on. You learn pretty much everything in this chapter on Taehyung but some parts weren't mentioned on the last chapter. I will do Namjoon next.
Oh and btw if you didn't know the house they were trapped in was the daycare, the place Hoseok works in. And some of you are confused about, How the characters were being controlled whilst they were out living like humans. So basically put it this way
—it's basically they were trapped in a game and their view of the world was vague and thy only saw little details meanwhile the players saw the whole place, so they needed help to get out.
