Nandini's POV

'You sure he has reached,' I asked Aryaman.

'Yes he is there. He is waiting for us,' he replied.

I chuckled dryly and said, 'He is not waiting for us, he is waiting for his death.' Aryaman nodded grimly, looking out of the window. He parked the car and scanned the surroundings from the driver's side window while I did the same from my passenger's side window, checking for any sort of danger.

We checked our guns for the last time before stepping out of the car. 'Time for some action,' Aryaman said motioning towards the entrance of the abandoned building outside which we were standing. I looked around the street we were in. Other than trees, overgrown bushes and the abandoned building, nothing. I smiled. Perfect setting for the job we are here for. Time to pay for you mistake Mr. Harshad Saxena.

I moved towards the entrance of the abandoned building and Aryaman followed me. I walked in leisurely while Aryaman looked around for any possible threat, though both of us had our senses on high alert.

As soon as I walked in the building, I saw Harshad standing in the middle of the room facing the other side showing us his back. I smirked seeing him.

'You do realise, that while you are facing the other side, I can easily shoot you from behind and kill you,' I said stopping a few metres away from him and he turned around hearing my voice. He looked scared. I smirked and continued, 'But don't worry. I won't do that. That's not my style. It suits you more. This 'behind your back' thing. You're an expert in it. Isn't it?' His face turned pale and he looked more scared than ever before, if that is even possible.

'Listen, Nandini,' he said coming towards me but I stopped him showing my hand, 'Ahh ahh!! No listening will happen today. Get ready to die,' I said pulling out my gun. If earlier he had looked scared, now he looked horrified. 'N... Nandini, y....you can't do this to me. Y.... You said we will talk. That's why I agreed to come here,' he stammered looking around for an escape.

Beside me, Aryaman was ready to catch him if he ran. I simply smirked and said, 'You believed me after betraying me. Wrong move, Harshad. After working with me for 3 years, you must be knowing how much I hate those who betray me. And, what do I do with them?' I held up my right hand with my gun in it and pretended to check it out. I smiled when I looked up and saw Harshad shivering with fear.

Suddenly he came towards me and sat on his knees in front of me holding my leg. I moved back freeing my leg as he started to beg, 'Nandini, I know I did a mistake. I did a very big mistake. I shouldn't have leaked that information. I'm sorry. I'm really very sorry. Please, forgive me. I promise this won't happen ever again. I beg you, don't kill me. Please forgive me.'

I kneeled a little in front of him as my emotionless, ice cold eyes met his fearful ones. 'Aww sweetie! Don't underestimate yourself.  You haven't committed a mistake, you have committed a sin,' I said in mock sweetness and then continued in a cold voice, 'Sin of betrayal. It has no forgiveness, only punishment. And your punishment for committing this sin is death.'

Saying this I stood up straight and pointed my gun at his head. Idiot, himself sat down infront of me. I smirked as I pulled the trigger.

Ahh!! Bless the soul who thought of inventing a thing like silencer. I don't like creating much noise when I'm working. And so, without making a sound, Harshad's dead body fell on the ground with a bullet stuck in his brain. His blood flowing from his head reminded me of his betrayal and I felt like shooting him again. But he was already dead and wasting my precious bullets on a dead body is not my style.

Turning back, I headed out the door followed by Aryaman. On reaching out, I quickly glanced at the surrounding looking for any hidden enemies. I made my way towards the car and sat in my seat. Aryaman slid in the driver's seat beside me. He silently put the car in reverse and then turned it towards the road.

Aryaman started speeding once we were on the road. But don't know why, I felt something to be wrong. Out of curiosity, I asked Aryaman to apply the brakes. He was confused but did as he was told to. The car was at the speed of 70 kmph. Aryaman applied the brakes but there was no effect on the car.

Damn!! I was right! Bloody Harshad. Aryaman was trying to somehow get the car to slow down but was unsuccessful. In the process, the car was swerving towards left and right and was going out of control. I tried to think of a way to escape but before I could do anything, Aryaman lost control over the vehicle and it banged into a tree on the side of the road. My head hit the dashboard as glass pieces of the window flew everywhere, some of them cutting into my skin. Blood flowed from my wounds and extreme pain arose in my head. The next thing I knew, my vision blurred and I blacked out.
