Fairytales (reverse poetry)

Fairytales don't exist
And it's not true that
Someone will come to be my Prince
They are just imaginations
They are just found in dreams
They can't inspire others
They are worthless
And you can't convince me that
They matter more than I know.

Fairytales aren't real
I don't believe that
Princes and Princesses are real
That Unicorns exist
Princes will save princesses
It's true that
believers are being childish
I don't believe that
Fairytales exist.

A Prince is unreal.
And it's not true that,
A place with forever exists.
That place is worthless,
That place is just an imagination,
It is useless,
And you can't convince me that
It matters more than I know.

The fairytale world is unrealistic
I refuse to believe that
There is hope
For fairytales
There's something true
In them
There's something inspiring
In them
I'm a shamed of myself for believing
No longer can I say that
I am a believer of happy ever afters.
