I entered the classroom and sat at the front row because it's pretty obvious Johnny and Brynn will be sitting at the back so I don't want to get noticed by them. I watched Johnny and Brynn entering the classroom and soon enough, Johnny landed his eyes on me and smirked.

He whispered something to Brynn and pointed at me to which she evilly grinned and nodded. she goes to her sit while Johnny goes to me.

"hello Zieg-pig." He put his hands on my desk dramatically that he expected me to even flinch.

I looked at his hands then back to him. "Hello Orlan-hoe." I forced a smile.

He may be attractive but to my eyes I see a jerk, asshole, and to name a few so no need for me to be one of those girls who drool directly when I see him. "You're gonna pay for that." He threatened.

"What's the catch?" I asked.

"Say, ten punches, twenty-two kicks at lunch," he smirked. again.

"Well let's hope you can find me."

He stayed longer, looking straight into my eyes while I stared back into those green orbs of his and it felt like a knife carved right through my heart to know that the same boy I've first made friends with when I was a kid is the same guy who is my bully at the present day. People do change.

He removed his hands from my table and stroke hair. "Oh, I will." Those were his last words before going to his seat. He doesn't know where I eat but just in case I'm staying in the girls' lavatory.

Mr Morgan finally came inside the class with his eyes glistening and he caught my eye and waved me off with a grin. He started off the lecture with a small introduction to the new students of who he was and what he teaches which is history.

I tried to catch up on his words and took down the important notes he said while being thrown with paper balls from my behind. I wheeled myself from letting out loud a scream and took a deep breath for myself. Johnny and Brynn snickered so loudly I don't even know why Mr Morgan hasn't done anything about it.

Them throwing paper balls at me continued until the bell rings. I stacked my things slowly and just as I was about to put on my backpack, Brynn nudged my shoulder purposely. "See you later, bitch." She spat at me then left.

I didn't see a sign of Johnny so I took the opportunity to walk out of the room. When I was near to my locker to get a few binders and books for the next classes I was caught off guard with a kick at the back of my leg. I dropped flat to the ground and groaned.

"Hello pig." He smiled.

"Hello hoe." I tried to stand but another kick was met. "Can this wait? There's class." I said looking at him.

"Look Kenzie, since you never felt this before I want you to feel it." There was a chant of saying 'Johnny!' telling him to do it.

I suddenly had things falling on my back then I realized Nadia had just dumped my things out of my backpack. Every book and notebook was felt then it stopped. "Ooh, look what we have here." She picked up a book from my back. I look at it and it was my mom's book.

"Give it back." I reached my hand out but yelped in pain when someone stood over my foot and twisted my ankle. A huge hand grabbed my hair and dragged me, my feet lifting from the ground and I tried so hard to not scream. Hayden was gleefully smiling at my crumpled expression.

He let go then Johnny choked my neck to the lockers. I didn't bother the pain all I need is the book back.

"G-give it ba-back." I reached out my hand again,

"What did you say, bitch?" She smirked.

"Give i-it back."

She put on a fake pout. "I don't think so."

Johnny's grip tightened and I tried to gasp air as my hands wrapped around his wrist, trying so hard for him to let go yet he did and I slipped to the ground. Ruby continued on with my ankle with Sophia doing the same on the other. I could no longer hold my screams so I shrieked, giving in and letting my tears fall out. my chest going up and down as I let in the unbearable pain.

My main goal was to achieve my book back, my screams went on but I kept fighting. I was sweating madly then everything felt numb. Johnny pulled out a cigarette and a lighter. He flicked it and Nadia put the book near the burning fire. Watching it made my head boil and I was thrashing my arms everywhere.

"Not the book!" I shouted. "Please! Anything but the book!"

Half of the boom was on fire then when it was enough for them, he pulled the lighter away from it and instead, lit his cigar. I was released from Ruby's and Sophia's foot and took the courage to stand and grab the book from Nadia.

"Have some better taste next time," Nadia said in disgust as she eyed my clothes.

"Thanks for the advice." And they all left leaving me and johnny alone.

"Now we're alone I can do whatever I want with you," he said, as his deep voice sent shivers down my spine.

"Again, can this wait?" I asked numbly.

But he didn't waste time and with no hesitation, he punched me hard.

"Mackenzie?" I felt a hand touch my shoulder that's when I noticed myself closing my eyes hard and on top of me, his face was masked with a harsh glare but underneath it all, I could see that he still cared for me. "Go down to the clinic. You've had enough for one day."

I pulled myself up but at the same time, I was being pushed down by gravity for my ankles weren't in support at all. I wanted to go home. But I didn't have one.

"Let me help you." I heard him say but I ignored it. He went too far by burning the book, the book he knew I always cherished.

When I grabbed it a wet drop hit the burnt cover so I wiped my teary eyes. No one cared if I ever cried anyway. I stood up again but this time I really forced myself to stay up and began walking to the clinic.

"Kenzie, let me help you." He trailed behind me and I sighed annoyingly.

I gave him a stern look. "Just do me a favor, if you are here with me please just hurt me but if you won't, leave me." I continued hopping down the hallway with my fingers clutched to the lockers. his presence was still there and I was starting to feel uncomfortable with the memories still haunting me.

Before I knew it, we have reached the clinic. I stopped at the door and looked down, should I look back and say thank him? It was silent on our way here and I was surprised that he didn't even utter a word.

I licked my lips, a red dot was suddenly on the back of my hand and I was confused. more and more came, panic rushing through me when I reached and touched my nose that was bleeding. My eyes widen and I tried to not gasp so loudly and took the confidence to see if he was still waiting for me to open the door.

But when I turned around, he wasn't there anymore.
