He is still checking his surroundings as the man besides him calls a name, which he doesn't react to. That name "Erwin" rings no bell in his mind, but from the looks of it he must be in a hospital. He wants to rub over his eyes, but his hand never appears before his face. He looks down to his right side and raised into the air was only a stump. His breathing picks up in speed as panic creeps up to him. Where in the world is his arm? Why is he in a hospital? He hears the male say more words and he turns his head again, being easily distracted at the moment. "Levi" no, that doesn't ring a bell either. A Corporal?
"I am sorry, but corporal why am I here? I don't understand! What... What happened?" It is as if his eyes and body remember the other one, but the information don't find a place in his brain. He starts to cry without knowing why and panic tugs at him again. He can't remember anything. No matter how hard he tries nothing comes up! Not even his name. He had a hard time breathing and the panic isn't making it better at all. His chest hurts, his leg hurts and most of all his head hurts. There are so many questions in his mind. It was obvious, that something really bad must have happened, but there is nothing.
He hiccups now as more tears start to fall from his eyes. It makes his chest hurt so much, but he can't stop. The crying makes it almost impossible for him to breathe at all, gasping in between sobs, that shake his whole body. He wanted to move and run out of this chamber, but he was unable to move any muscle without it sending a white light over his eyes from the pain. His body was still weak and will still need more weeks to heal, even if he got a really good regenerating system. He was looking at the man called Levi again, pleading with his eyes, trying so hard to remember.
"I... I... Don't know... You." He hiccups violently. "What... Happened.... Why am... I  here." It was no use. The commander he once was isn't there anymore, but the doctor had said, that this can appear temporarily. For Erwin himself there is nothing there. Nothing from his youth, his past life. All is gone. The first memory he got now is opening his eyes in that hospital.

Levi could see Erwin's brain working a million times per second and he tried to analyze the situation. But, something else was wrong. Erwin wasn't himself at all. He started to cry, something he had never seen Erwin do. Erwin was in a panic, another thing wasn't normal. But with all the panic only one thing stood out.
"I don't know you."
The Corporal was truly selfish when it came to it. He wanted to be remembered, thinking that maybe his life wasn't as important to Erwin if he couldn't remember. Levi wasn't the smartest person in the corps and didn't fully know how anemia worked.

He hid the pain he felt from Erwin's words and put a hand on his shoulder in hopes of comforting him.
"You were at war. You were near death but... the doctors...."
He paused and glanced at the door.
"They brought you back and fixed your injuries."
He wasn't sure if that gave Erwin any kind of closure. Let pulled his hand off of Erwin's shoulder after it lingered there for too long.
"Please stay calm. I'll get the doctor."
He struggled with himself just to pull away from Erwin's side. After so long, waiting for Erwin to wake. He had no choice but to leave him and call for the doctor. The situation was just too dire to ignore. He walked out of Erwin's hospital chamber and started to scream out. Levi's voice was enough to call the doctors and nurses in the ward to tense up.  He demanded Erwin's doctor be with them at once before returning to Erwin's room.

Without fail, he went to his chair, folded his arms over his chest and crossed his right leg over the other. His dark eyes and emotionless expression was facing towards the door, waiting patiently for the doctor to come in.
