The ceiling was bright and white as he stares at it. It was almost like the first time he had seen it. Some tiny black spots are there, just like the first time. And just like the first time he still can't remember anything. He groans out, but the pain in his chest is almost gone completely as he takes a deep breath.
"Hm Levi? Doctor?"
"Erwin? How are you feeling?" The doctor asks concerned.
Erwin gets up in a sitting position and looks at Levi and then at the doctor.
"Better, what happened? I remember commander Zoe injecting that serum into me and then I went to bed, but I can't remember what happened then."
"You had a spastic attack and you stopped breathing for a second. I thought you would die. Can you remember anything from before your time in this hospital?" Erwin thinks for a moment and looks at Levi again before turning his head down, sadness clearly in his eyes.
"No nothing. It's the same as it was before."
"We will run some tests Erwin to see how your body is doing, for now you should rest."
The doctor leaves them alone and Erwin growls.
"Seems like it doesn't recover the mind and I don't need rest. Levi I need to remember, for you, for everyone. I hoped it would work." He caresses Levi's arm sadly, but his determination is clear in his eyes. Now that he feels better he wanted to do everything to get it back.
"I have to admit that I feel better. I can breathe without pain."

Levi was shaking a little as Erwin started to talk, he didn't even care that he still couldn't remember his past. After nearly losing him again, he didn't care anymore. When the doctor left, Levi attacked Erwin with a hug.
"I don't care. Just.. Don't worry about. You scared the shit out of me, you moron."
He started to kiss him over and over. He couldn't let go of Erwin after the scare of his death. He closed his eyes as his tears started to fall down his cheeks. His hands tightened on Erwin's clothes as he pulled him closer. He pulled his lips away from Erwin's mouth before burying his face in Erwin's chest.
"Don't stress yourself over all this. Don't force yourself for me and humanity."
He swallowed before Nuzzling up against Erwin's collar bone.
"I love you, Erwin. I love you so much."
He kissed his skin before moving up to his neck more quickly before getting close to him.
